Once everything was set up, there was a hell of a lot more downtime, and, let's be completely honest, hearing about the stuff going on further back, in the cooch show as it was called, was prime for grabbing his attention. The second he knew he was good for a break, he decided to make his way over there. There was no harm in it, or at least he didn't think there was. Dean honestly wasn't surprised to see the huge crowd gathered on the bailey, standing out in this dying heat, trying to see everything they could for free. It was the Great Depression; that might be all half of these men could afford. The other half had the money, but didn't have it to spare. Dean wasn't going to be the one to judge them because hell, he was here too.
The one thing that did bother him about the crowd was the fact that it was hard to see anything. He wasn't short by any means, especially when he's not being dwarfed by his giant of a brother, but a lot of these guys had an inch or two on him, never mind the mass of them were at least three deep in most places. Time to get creative. Dean must have had a couple dollars in change in his pocket, basically nothing, but for some of these people, it was a lot. Careful to drop it so that it made the most noise, he waited for one person to notice, and then a couple more joined it. It was a big enough group that he was able to push by them to get to a better spot. His reward for that wasn't quite as worth it as he'd hoped.
Standing up there, getting talked up as exotic, was Meg. The word 'exotic' brought a sarcastic laugh up. Meg, who was killed by Crowley to help them get away, was standing there in a grass skirt. Dean sighed. He'd really wanted a break from all of this and a little time to himself and he somehow managed to pick the only attraction here that would have someone he knew working it.
Dean stood there, taking a quick inventory of the guys standing closest to him while Meg blew a kiss out to them. When her eyes looked through the crowd, he caught them and waited for realization to sink in.
