tutorial: how to screencap manually and automatically in VLC player

hey, y'all!!! i'm going to be making a series of videos with tips and tricks to help people learn how to take screenshots or learn features they didn't realize VLC had.

i'm starting off with a basic tutorial on how to take caps either by hand or setting VLC up to take them automatically.


my next videos will be on how to take screencaps on netflix/hulu/amazon video/whatever streaming service through VLC, and how to pull HQ videos from youtube to cap in VLC without having to download them.

hey! you said in this post that you plan to make a tutorial on how to screencap netflix through vlc -- do you still plan to do that? i have a show i'd love to cap, but it's on netflix and i really don't want to have to print screen for every cap. regardless, thank you for this tutorial, it's really helpful!
