Part 3 has less caps because that episode was in high def and a larger file. This show is freaking adorable and I was regularly flailing at [info]oslo who asked me to do these. There are subtitles in parts as I was capping while watching for the first time. He has incredible expressions and he's absolutely adorable. More of the cast will be coming eventually.

Summary: A shy young man who longed for a better relationship with his emotionally distant father gets the idea to bond with him using Final Fantasy. His father retires, so he convinces him to pick up the game, which they played together when he was little, and then he approaches his father as a person in game. He befriends him to try to get to know him, and hopes that when they fight the final boss together, they'll be bonded enough he can tell him and get the relationship he was always hoping for.

the original/direct translation from the Japanese is "Daddy of Light", but Netflix tamed it up a little lmao
