It reminds me of Arrow which did the same thing, every conversation they had in their lair was lit so that lights were constantly right behind everyone's heads, and they'd have half an episode down there! So it was dark lighting except for bright lights right behind their heads lol. And then there was Flash where the opposite happened and they had like 100 lights on everyone's faces in the lab at all times.
