He grew on me so much that in the end I was like 'yeah of course, he's the last normal character standing'.

Yeah I always did like him from day one but I think he certainly has changed for the better by this last season. I think since he is normal I'm invested in how his life goes. Fandom really hates him and I think it''s a shame because I think the show and Kevin have done a great job with him. although I've seen people come around on him this season!
