It is legit one of my favorite all-time shows AND one of my favorite all-time book series. I highly recommend it if you like science fiction. The first season/book is setting up a lot of pieces and exposition unsurprisingly but by the halfway season/end point it really is getting it together. And then the following seasons are A++++. It's four seasons now and all on Amazon Prime
