There was something strangely amusing about the way Selina always seemed to put a double meaning behind her words. She was a lot more crude than the women he was used to being around, but he couldn't say that he minded. She was almost like this little ball of light, illuminating the darkness around him and although they didn't always see eye to eye, Bruce still liked her a lot more than he ever let on.
Sometimes he wondered if she'd ever give up doing what she did, but the more he'd pondered the thought, the quicker he'd realized that it was something that was never going to happen. Selina wasn't going to give up doing what she did best and he certainly wasn't going to trade in his cape and cowl for peace and quiet. Gotham needed a hero, it probably always would and as long as he was needed, he could never quit.
"Funny." He said, lazily lifting an eyebrow before slowly moving forward to reach the elevator shaft.
