It hadn't been two months since the death of Warren Worthington III and when Sam had taken over control of his father's company. It was an eventful time for a teenage billionaire but this world didn't wait for anything. So Sam was there to try to keep up appearances and hopefully make connections outside the sharks within his own company.
Sam was there all dressed up like he was attending with his father and not alone for the first time. He was a little nervous when he first walked into the banquet. Normally he would be a few steps behind the older Worthington but he didn't have that anymore. He felt like everyone turned to look at him as he entered. He didn't want to be the person that everyone whispered about.
He walked over quietly to the open bar and started to order a drink.
