I talked with Stiles. Let me say right off the bat I don't expect a response, but I'm going to say what I need to say. Call it a guilty conscious or a change of heart or whatever you like.
I have been wrong a lot in my life. I've been right a lot a lot too. This is not one of those times. I don't like admitting I might have been wrong about something, but I'll do it. I'll do it if it kills me. I'm stubborn as hell but I own up to mistakes I make.
I talked to Stiles and he told me what happened before I got here. He also told me what he told you when I asked him. I should have had more trust in him but I didn't realize he came from a future point back home.
I'm sure you are wondering why I've been so secretive. I would be willing to sit down with you in person, as I plan to sit down with Sam Winchester, Natasha Romanoff, and Caroline Forbes, to tell you everything I feel you need to know. Perhaps answer some questions that will undoubtedly arise.
I was also wrong to go against your professional advice and make it seem as if I could do a better job than you as far as treating my injuries. I have no real explanation except to say it comes back to the trust thing. Back home, being a hunter, trusting anyone who was not in the know when it came to the existance of the supernatural was at the very least asking for a whole lot of headache. At worst, it was asking for mass panic and hysteria. Trusting people in the supernatural world too soon, that was just asking someone to kill you or worse. So forgive me for my suspicions, but I have them for a reason. I never planned not to tell the people in charge of the camp, and if it becomes necessary, then the whole of the camp. I just needed to get their measure first.
I would understand if you want to wash your hands of me, but I feel like it would be most beneficial to me, and ease a lot of the kid's worry, if I let you take care of my injuries and general health while you are available to do so. I can take care of them on my own if I have to, but it is crude and often a rushed patch job. Hunters also learn fast to use what is given to them, so I would be a fool not to take the help you extended.
