"Biology?" Hermione echoed. "We didn't take a class about that in my school." She wondered how else her magical schooling differed from that of muggles, what else there was that she didn't know. She suddenly felt a little overwhelmed at the thought. She nodded though, "That's something I have read before," she commented, "They think dinosaur fossils are what people confused for dragon bones," Hermione couldn't help a smirk at the thought. Dinosaurs had been dead for a very long time and dragons were still alive and well. It was interesting and a bit exciting to actually hang out with a muggle who was taught those sorts of things. Even if she was a muggleborn herself, she hardly spent much time around muggles any more.
"If there isn't a map in the library, I'm sure the soldiers would have one. They must have plotted out the area... done some exploration," Hermione said thoughtfully. That's what she would've done. Glancing out toward where she knew the perimeter fence was, Hermione furrowed her brow for a moment, "I wonder how safe those fences are," she commented. She knew when dragons were angry they could destroy just about anything... what if dinosaurs were the same? And what if they had naturally foul temperaments like dragons? "I mean, dinosaurs are big aren't they?" Hermione wondered if she had any spellwork that could fend of dinosaurs... she didn't think so.
"It's a bit worrisome, isn't it? To rely on mugg-," Hermione stopped abruptly and felt her face heat up at the slip up. "To rely on military for keeping safe," she amended and hoped the slip wouldn't be too distracting.
