"Andrew, right?" Sam asked, as he released the hand. He moved to check on the tea, and shifted the two cups he'd set out on the counter. He wasn't nervous, apprehensive wasn't the right word. He wasn't on edge, but he wasn't exactly calm either.
He had a feeling this was a significant experience, and he wanted to remember every moment of it, even the awkward bits. He almost asked if Andrew would take sugar with his tea, but remembered that he'd said he'd never had tea. Sam put the sugar out just the same. Perhaps Andrew would enjoy experimenting.
