She smiled, closing the distance between them, leaning over to put her arm around Sookie's shoulders in a sort of half-hug. They were about the same height, Inari noticed, not that it was really important. Just noticing. It was nice to be affectionate without being scared--and though Inari knew her Hunger wouldn't care who it snacked on, she figured that Sookie's gift might give her at least a little warning if things got uncomfortable. There were always warning signs if and when it tried to rise.
She sighed, letting herself relax a little as she gave her friend a quick squeeze, then released her. Then she had a thought. If I'm half vampire... "Can you still read my thoughts because I'm not the undead kind of vampire?" She was just curious.
