Melissa had never been one to listen to her conscience. If she had, she probably wouldn't have ended up in all the bad situations she always managed to get herself into. Right now, her conscience was screaming at her to turn and run, Sam was bad news, but she couldn't stop herself. It felt like forever since she had been with a guy, a guy who had no idea she was a witch or special in anyway. He just wanted her.

The witch only hesitated a fraction of a second in the doorway, to look up at him, before she stepped inside. She had no power without a member of the circle by her side. She was vulnerable and very...human. His voice interrupted her thoughts and she looked over at him. Her mouth opened, vocal cords poised to respond, but the words never had a chance to be heard.

Instead, he was approached her fast and Melissa found herself pinned between his hard body and the rough wall of the cabin. Even if she wanted to escape, it would be impossible, but she didn't want to. When he moved to kiss her, Melissa eagerly accepted, kissing him with all the knowledge a teenager could possess. She loved the feel of his hands on her, moving in places they shouldn't go and she was reminded again, with a sinking heart, how much she missed Nick. She hadn't been with a guy since.

But Sam was a pretty good start.
