He hit the ground with a surprised 'oof!', but the instant his eyes met hers, he flashed a smile, "Sam." He knew she wasn't Max! He quickly hopped back into his feet, a smirk etched into his features. She didn't have the sense of humor Max did... which was saying something, since Max barely had a sense of humor in the first place. He wasn't fazed by the fact she had tossed him to the ground, it was only because he wasn't paying attention and hadn't expected her to react so violently. "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning," he said nonchalantly, "Or... do you sleep? Max doesn't," he commented.
Alec wrinkled his nose when she mentioned Ben and then he rolled his eyes. "Ben's too busy practising amateur dentistry and being crazy to get handsy," he quipped, sidling back into her personal space, arms folded across his chest. "So... back to the original question," Alec drawled, "What's a transgenic like you doing in a place like this? You don't have anyone to be self-righteous to, so how's that working for you?"
