Jo was already there, leaning against a tree as she absently twirled her knife in her hand. It wasn't a nervous habit, exactly, but it was something she often did when considering a situation, or just thinking. Her crew knew better than to disturb her while she had the blade out.
When she heard someone approaching, the knife paused, ready for defense if needed, as her dark eyes glanced in the direction of the sound. After a moment, she relaxed on seeing the figure, slipping the blade into her boot as she recognized him from their online conversation.
