TWINKLE ON THE MBR

There have been many missives from squibs who rejoice at the Muggle-born Registration Commission, but what of the Half-bloods? I am writing to share that it is more than squibs who are glad to see the magic-stealers gone.
I have always known the dangers of Muggle-borns. As a young schoolboy I shared a dormitory with a Muggle-born. He attempted to convince me and others to acclimate to his Muggle-born ways. From talking incessantly about automobiles and airplanes to refusing to use wizarding photographs and claiming that science trumps magic, he obviously didn't fit in.
While I understood that he came from another culture, I did not anticipate him forcing his upon me. We were all meant to be wizards (I did not yet understand that he was a magic stealer), and yet he was stuck in the past of his origin. How could he become a true member of society when he was so focused on his past and so determined to belittle those who clung to their magical heritage?
Now that we know Muggle-borns are indeed magic stealers, I think that it is for the best that they are continually weeded out of our society. We must think of our impressionable children who might be convinced that the Muggle way of life is better... (Continued on page 3)
