Aeotha hadn't even wanted Skandra to come, there were a great many reasons why she hadn't wanted Skandra to come. First of all, she had no idea he was actually alive. Upon finding him alive she also saw he was dying. What could a dying man that held onto some shadow of the person he used to be help them in their campaign. Of course, now she knew Skandra was useful. And if Aeotha had the time to think about it she might have felt bad for the way she was acting towards him. But she didn't feel bad. He'd tried to kill her. He hadn't pulled either from their cell. How many lives had all of them sent to the after? How many battles had she fought for Skandra? How many had he for her? No time for thought. She hadn't ask him along.
She'd told Leir to leave him.
"He's gone insane." Aeotha said softly, so much so that Skandra might not have heard her, but Leironuoth would have.
Skandra was going insane right there before them, and Aeotha couldn't even bother herself to care about it. There was only one thing on her mind and that was Eiron. How deep did the wound go? How long had she waited for it? Prayed for it. Hoped and dreamed of a day where Eiron didn't breath easy. Leironuoth opened the door for her, and just as she made it out they were both after Skandra. Toward the exit. She could make out sounds now, sounds beside the jail they had been out. Rain. Aeotha never desired rain as much as she did now. Leironuoth was in front of her, when they came out of the door. Aeotha shielded forehead to look out through the rain, only to hear the voice of an elf she hadn't seen..
Well it felt like forever ago now.
She didn't express any sort of happiness, there was nothing happy about today. It was the end of her past, in a way. Skandra already ended part of it. Leironuoth was about to bury the rest. Aeotha would finally find a peace she'd been waiting for. Aeotha didn't know how to feel about it. She'd never felt this much hate inside of her. At least, not as vividly as when she was younger. When everything was fresh and new. Now it felt like it'd happened yesterday and she'd get to finish what she'd always wanted to. When Kings wouldn't listen, and no man believed her. Now many would know, many would hear. Eibhear could rest in peace finally. Her father, her brother.. They could rest in peace. There would be a weight on her, no matter if Eiron's blood caked the ground in hours or a day or to. It wouldn't leave completely. Many more had fallen on her journey.
The sword brought back a memory she hadn't had in a very long time. A very long one. She'd pushed all those memories far and away. Now it was here. Now she was facing it. Aeotha was happy for the rain, she must have looked grim. She pressed on behind him towards the wagon. "ElemmÃrë." It was as best a greeting as Aeotha could muster, given her current train of thought, as well as a sea of feelings threatening to drown her.
