Most of the 'dirty' work had been done for him already but there were some things that only he could do. In this situation, it was finding a spy in the mayor's office, someone that could report to him about everything going on on the human side of the city. Sure, he didn't really need to go to such great lengths to see what the humans were doing, it shouldn't even be a concern to him, but Cenric had come here to take over and he was going to do just that. He wouldn't have any visible connections or control with that side of things but to always know what was going on would only help. The sewer rats were good for a lot but there were pieces that slipped even from their sticky little fingers.
He had set one of them onto researching the kine who worked in the building, to see who would be best, and out of all the printed out information pages, only one would work with what he needed. This woman, Delilah, would be his spy whether she agreed to it or not. He would use his dominate on her if he had to, even go so far as to bind her to him as a ghoul. It was something he had never wanted before, something he had always turned his nose up about but here, he understood the risks and would meet them head on. If he had to.
Being Prince, he usually didn't go places by himself, especially because of the shaky hold he had on the city right now, but this was something he had to do himself. It would be easier if he went instead of dragging along his brother's husband. Liam, for all his usefulness, wasn't always someone others wanted to see. He tended to be quite violent, as was his clan, but this needed all the delicacy he could manage.
Tonight, he dressed in a black suit with a blue silk tie and he knew all too well who it highlighted his eyes and made them stand out of his pale face. It took him little effort to get past the guards in the lobby, just a look from this man was enough to send men and other vampires alike running for their mothers. He reached her office in a matter of moments, the monster in him rolling in his mind, his mouth aching. Why was she so perfect to his plan? She worked in the mayor's office and she was a higher up official there, yes, but she also had the only type of blood he could drink and it called to the old man, even so far away. "Miss Domont?"
