The work shift was long, as usual;. The only thing that made it even remotely bare-able was the fact that he was going over to Stella's for dinner. But, before that he would head to his place. After all no one liked to go to dinner smelling like work. Once home, he had managed to pick out a nice button down shirt and slacks. His shower wasn't too long. Having dressed already he would go and text Stella informing her that he was on his way.
Once her address was acquired, he figured he would stop by the liquor store and grab a bottle of red wine for them. Maybe he was over doing it, but it was known that Mason loved to drink some might say it was an addiction. The drive wasn't long, and he found himself slightly nervous. Even if for a second, since it had been a while since he'd gone on a date with anyone who wasn't his best-friend Kat. And even that was for drinks and therapy.
Once his car was parked he would come to her door and knock. That bottle of red wine in one hand and a small bouquet of roses. Maybe he did go over-board with the flowers. but she was a woman, and women loved flower.... Didn't they?
