does the character have supernatural/magical/preternatural powers? No. He's a very skilled fighter/knight (specialty: swords and maces), a sturdy footman and a good horseman. He might have some sort of connexion with Merlin, but it's not him who does the trick.
does your character have any ‘normal’ talents? Sword-fighting. Mace-fighting. Lance-fighting. FIGHTING. Horseback-riding. Bragging. Acting brattishly.
list any special items your character will carry in the city Sword. Armor. Knives. Perhaps horse. Certainly horse!
describe your character’s personality Arthur Pendragon is the Crown Prince of Camelot, and though being very protective of him, his kingly father does test his courage, his diplomacy and his other skills constantly. Therefore Arthur is used to being given a lot of attention and importance, and he acts accordingly. He often comes across as spoiled, brattish, annoying and aloof. He mostly is.
Nevertheless Arthur has often proved that he can care about his friends (see: relationship with Merlin), family (see: relationship with Morgana), or lovers (see: relationship with Gwen). He's having trouble making decisions that aren't strategy or army-related, and has a lot to learn about life and love.
familiarize us with your character’s history Arthur's mother, Queen Ygraine, died when he was born, so he grew up without his mothe,r but always had a great respect and admiration for her. Arthur finally met her 20 years later, when she returned as a spirit brought by Morgause; for the first time mother and son hugged happy when they saw each other.
Arthur frequently found himself under threat one way or another and was, unwittingly, rescued by Merlin on several occasions.
Throughout the second series Arthur and Gwen's love for each other grew, though it remained largely unspoken between the pair. Their main problem (apart from the class difference) was that they were reluctant to talk to each other about their relationship. After Arthur was enchanted, he realized that Gwen was in love with him, so he went to her house and told her he loved her too, Gwen then apologized to Arthur about what happened with Lancelot, Arthur seemed to be able to forgive her.
is there a job your character would like to apply for? Anything related to horses, fighting, or planning/strategy will do, though people need to be careful not to hurt his feelings.
