Captain Storm had received a nifty wave from a fellow that she did plenty of business with. She was lining up the ships next 'Job', in true Lorrayna Phoenix fashion. The cut was fifty-fifty as most all of her actual hired on work was. Many folk considered Emerald's fee to be too high, but then others realized the cost was all in her determination to whatever it were you hired her and her crew for. Plus, Pirate. The ships motto was like that of those on the old seas of Earth-that-Was, 'Take what you can, and give nothing back.' Rumors floated around the black, and the truest of those were that Emerald Storm was a new aged pirate, and when going into business with her, you best keep your end of the deal unless you wanted her to run you through with her cutlass. Yes she even has a cutlass.
The black haired woman shut off her monitor after saying her goodbyes to her 'partner'. She smiled wickedly, this job of sorts sounded partially interesting. Emm reached for the intercom button on the wall next to her antique desk. "This be the Capt'n speaking. Will all members of the crew please report to the Dinning Hall, for a short briefin'. This be including Mr. Sharan! Thank you kindly." She clicked off the gadget, she spoke in a happy chipper tone. She was happy. Whenever the possibility of acquiring shiny new things, she would become gitty even.
Emerald made her way to the Dinning hall, which wasn't the official briefing area. But it was still early in the morning and she hadn't eaten, hence the dinning hall. She did as she pleased, it was her boat. The lady expected everyone to be waiting when she got there, so she skipped slowly along. She was wearing a usual funky outfit. A ruffled dark shaded skirt, with a tight sewn in brown leather corset with matching ruffled red fabric sticking out of the top of the tight corset. She was wearing no shoes, and she walked gracefully barefoot quietly thinking to herself on the action that must be set into place.

Akira had already been seated in the dinning hall when the captain's voice kicked on. Hearing the tone of her voice, he couldn't help but grin.
He'd started eating after a quick look around the engine room. His stomach protested waiting any longer and demanded he eat, to which he agreed, lest he start talking to his stomach again. Didn't really need any of that, he figured. Which also explained why he already had grease smudge on the face he was stuffing full. He didn't plan to stop eating 'till he was full, or the captain told him to.
_oddball_
Oddball was sitting at the dinning room table also. He wasn't eating what Akira was, instead he had a plate filled with cheese and crackers. All sorts of different cheese. The crew were some of the rare lucky ones for having a refrigeration unit on board. It meant that they could keep fresh meat and dairy, and all sorts of stuff longer than most ships. Course if Oddball remembered correctly they took it from a Alliance ship they raided a few years back. Which was a hilarious event in its self.
Oddball glanced over at the younger man. "Gosh boy, you're goin' to end up choking on something." He commented with a small amused chuckle.
greasy_akira
Akira grinned sheepishly, sitting the bowl he was shoveling from on the table. He figured he could use a minuet or two to breath, anyways. "Maybe, but I'm sure someone will save me for it's too late."
Then with a glance at the older man's plate, he have a chuckle of his own. "You got enough cheese there?"
_oddball_
He glanced down at his plate and then back at Akira. He twitched his nose some to the side and back again as he had himself a thought. "Well, one can never have himself enough cheese." He finally announced in a 'matter of a fact' like tone.

Monica had been in her bunk cleaning her guns when she heard the Captain come over the intercom system. And with a heavy sigh she raised herself to her feet; she strapped the gun she had finished to her side, before heading out her door and to the Dinning hall.
The woman entered the room, glancing at those at the table. She caught Oddball's comment and she merely shook her head. Monica walked over to the counter space; she reached around the doorway into the kitchen and snagged herself some coffee and began brewing it in the maker that sat on the counter top. She had to walk to the kitchen to grasp a mug, and creamer. She also grabbed a mug for herself.

The voice over the loud speaker made Ace jump. He'd been fast asleep, slumped in his pilot's chair. He looked around for a moment, then realized the captain was calling to all hands on deck, and he wiped at a spot of drool on his cheek and roused himself. He was rumpled from sleep, but didn't care. If they wanted him more presentable they'd find a co-pilot to help him out now and then so he could see a little more of his bunk and a little less sore muscles from sleeping in a chair.
Yawning and stretching as he walked he made his way to the dining area. Most of the crew was already there, and he nodded to them in greeting before moving to help himself to some of the ship's strong, slightly burnt but pleasantly caffinated coffee.
greasy_akira
Akira's reply was lost, well more the thought that would have formed into the reply. Which was probably for the better he figured..
But anyways, the thought to form his reply was lost, by the arrival of Monica and Ace. To which he grinned, picking up his bowl in a little hello toast, and started shoveling food back in his mouth. Though after a few minuets he stopped, mid shovel, and squinted at Oddball's plate. Using his spoon to point, he picked one of the stranger looking cheeses (at least to him), "what is that?"
[Bad username: ace mackler]
Ace smiled, watching everyone move about. He raised his mug to Monica and smiled. "Excellent coffee today Walker." He complimented, acknowledging that he'd taken a cup without asking. He grinned and gave her a wink before moving to the table where the other men of the ship were seated.
"Akira," He commented, sipping his black coffee. "Haven't you learned not to question oddball?" He asked jokingly. "His nickname is oddball for a reason." He laughed and shook his head then, "Although can't say as I blame a many for enjoyin' his cheeses." He quirked his brows expressively.
__walker__
Monica filled the first cup of steaming coffee and added the cream. She just glanced at Ace, not particularly a glare. She nodded just slightly at him in return of the comment, and she was ignoring the winking. The Security officer placed the first cup at the head of the table were the large decorative upright armchair sat, it was something similar to an actual thrown seat only fitted to the dinning room table. It was an antique as most of Emerald belongs were.
After placing the cup in front of the captain's chair, she went and poured herself a cup of coffee with nothing added to it. Then without a word she settled herself at the table. Monica glanced at the display of cheese that was being gobbled up by Oddball. "Hmm..." was all that escaped her lips, but nothing more.
_oddball_
Oddball smiled widely, fact was he didn't rightly know what kind of cheese it was. He just ate umm, it was some kind of fancy Chinese Alliance-made stuff. Oh that he was certain on, they weren't good for much, but making chesses was something they seemed to handle well.
He raised a brow back, an amused snicker read within his eyes. He watched Monica take her seat. She didn't look all too happy this fine morning; he was hoping it would be a nice lovely peaceful day. And it sounded as though it would be, with the Captain calling the meeting and all. "Good fine morning, Walker." He added, after a big swallow. He had noticed her eyeing his plate.
[Bad username: neve sharan]
Naveen stopped mid-push-up as the captain's voice filled his shuttle. e lowered himself to the ground, sighing and shook his head. He didn't mind joining crew meetings but he never really appreciated being being beckoned over the speaker like a dog.
He grabbed a towel from the chest by his bed and wiped the tiny beads of sweat from his face, neck and back. He was only partway through his daily workout but the break from the repetition was not necessarily a bad thing. Dipping the towel into a wash basin by his bed he rinsed himself quickly and slipped on a white linen shirt. It was almost impossible to stay neat and proper on a salvage ship, but he tried his damndest and usually managed.
Taking his time he walked leisurely into the dining area. When he entered he saw most of the crew, but not the captain herself. "Good morning." He said smiling, greeting those in the room before seating himself at the table.
greasy_akira
"That might be a good point, but I'm not convinced that's really cheese." Akira just shook his head, then went back to using his spoon to eat instead of point.
He lifted his bowl in a hello toast yet again when Naveen entered, managing a mornin' between mouthfuls.
doctor_dori
Dori entered a few moments later, she'd been in the middle of reorganizing and wanted to finish up before she left the infirmary. Though when she entered the dinning hall she didn't stop to say hello, instead she headed straight to the coffee.
Once she was armed with a cup, she made her way to the table full of crew and took a seat. A small hello smile to the others, "still no sign of the capin' then?"
[Bad username: neve sharan]
Naveen smiled watching Akira shovel food into his mouth. "Akira, you do know you have more than five seconds to consume that bowl of food, right?" He chuckled lightly and shook his head. Oddball wasn't the only odd behaving member of the crew, but they were all chamring in their individual ways. Even akira and his tendencies to inhale food rather than eat it.
"If you don't slow down, you may choke, and while the doctor is present, that would still be an unfortuneate event." He commented still smiling.
drunkincapngal
Emm had stopped off at the bridge to check the coordinates, she grabbed her self a databook that was sitting close by and she placed them into it, in order to give to her Pilot. Then she made her way to the dinning hall where she clearly expected everyone to be by now. Though she felt somebody was off else were, she gracefully entered with her skirt flowing within the air as she entered.
She glanced around; her hunch was right... where was Gwenny? Well she would start without her, and then talk to her later on. It was an annoying redundant task, especially when she had announced ship wide her wanting everyone in one place. But it wouldn't dampen her chipper mood.
"Very unfortunate... cause I need me a genius like you to keep us a float." She spoke as she made her way to her chair and the cup of coffee that was waiting for her. It wasn't hot, but warm enough to still drink. So she sat cup in hand, as she glanced at those in front of her.
greasy_akira
Akira sat down his bowl with a chuckle and grin. It was touching how concerned the rest of the crew was about him choking. Though he figured if it hadn't happened yet, it probably wouldn't anytime soon.
"I'm touched, I didn't know I was so well loved." His grin widened, but he left the bowl on the table. It was forgotten for the moment. "So, what's goin' on Captain Lady?"
[Bad username: ace mackler]
Ace laughed looking over at Akira, "Or, it could be that we fear falling out of the sky if you get your self deceased." He joked, sipping his coffee. "Not that that would happen with my stellar flying skills, but you know them, they worry." He smiled a shit eating grin and watched the Captain settle in. He remained silent waiting for her to explain the point of the meeting, holding his coffee as if it were a lifeline to consciousness.
greasy_akira
With a chuckle Akira titled his head, pretending to give that some thought. "Could be that," he agreed. "Though, if you all let me choke, you almost deserve the fall." With a grin he added, "short as it'd be, what with your stellar skills, and all."
doctor_dori
Dori wore a small smile, finding the crew's banter to be amusing. She nursed her cup of coffee, eyes on the captain. Though she knew she wouldn't find one, she still searched for a clue to what was about to happen.
__walker__
Monica rolled her eyes at Ace's comment, such a smart ass but that was the piloting way she guessed. Plenty of them thought of themselves as the best, though he was pretty handy behind the controls. So maybe stellar was a correct word. Monica shook her head, why the hell was she contemplating this in-depth. She took a long sip of her coffee, emptying the cup, then focusing on the captain at the end of the table.
drunkincapngal
Emerald let them speak a moment, before her face turned a bit more serious. Wasn't any indication as to what this all was about, just the databook in her hands. She opened her mouth to speak, when her stomach reminded her it wanted food. But all she saw on the table was Oddball's practically finished plate of crackers n' cheese and the bowl that had occupied Akira. She made a face and then went on to speak.
"In four days a ship will be in the dead of space near the Burnham Quadrant, more or less near Athens. This particular ship has a might peck of cargo, including a shiny chest that has a old family valuable. My contact, or sort, has informed be that the family is willing to pay a pretty penny to get it back, seems some mighty importance to them who want it."
Emm always watched her words around Naveen, sure he know the kind of stuff that went on. He had to have known... but he was also a core civilized man and strait out saying that they were to raid the ship, well she wasn't always sure how that would sit with him. It was a sort of unspoken understanding between the two, it was ships business and it didn't concern him 'less it interrupted his own business. Which was the nature of why he was called to the meeting too. Emerald was never sure why he came to Lorrayna Phoenix sure it gave them appearance of respectability, and she enjoyed his company, in fact she had been looking for a companion to sail on board. And she'd been with various other companions while planet-side diffrent places, never with him of course, but she knew the type. And so it always got to her why he had chosen her ship, and not some shiny cruise liner or somethin'.
And at that she glanced at Naveen, "We'll be within reach of Athens, if you'd want us to drop on by beforehand, if say you had clients in the area, otherwise it won't be but almost a week before being anywhere near enough for you to line up work I'm afraid." She offered up. Of course she knew that the planet was far from being a shiny civilized place; however it had some respectable-sort of towns. If he be wanting to take up the offer, whether anyone there was actually looking for companionship the Captain had no clue. She waited for the few questions she figured she'd get, before handing over the databook to Ace.
[Bad username: neve sharan]
Neve listened to the captain speak quietly. He knew that the ships dealings were not entirely reputable and that was something he'd resigned himself to a while ago. He did not delve into their business and they stayed out of his, all in all it was a pleasant arrangement. At the mention of Athens he nodded, he could put out a the word for potential clients and see what came up. He doubted that he would find anything worth venturing planetside for, but he would at least try.
"Thank you Captain, I shall see what the planet has to offer." He said, bowing his head in thanks to her.
[Bad username: neve sharan]
Akira grinned, he has to admit, he loved the way Emm described their business in front of Naveen.
"We'll it'd be a real shame if that family didn't get their valuable back." Then as an afterthought he asked, "hey Cap, am I comin' with this time?"
gunner_gwenny
Gwenny awoke at the sound of her best friends voice. she laid there for awhile, not entirely awake. She then realized that Emm was calling for every one to go to the dinning hall. She saw what time it was and got up from her bed. As she opened her door and stepped out into the hall she realized the she was still in her bed clothes that consisted of hardly anything and showed almost every thing. she did not think the woman would care but they did have crew and did not know what kind of mood she was in.
Gwenny thought she was in a good mood, and if they were about to make a pretty penny, she would be. Gwen did not want to be late so after debating on whether to get dressed in something that was less revealing, she decided to just go down as she was. she ran down the halls to see Emm just entering the Dinning Hall. she slowly approached the doorway and entered when the woman started to speak. she waited in the doorway till she had stopped speaking. Gwenny knew what she was like when she was interrupted.
Even though she was kinda late she heard all that was said about the job. when the mechanic had asked his question she entered completely and asked "What is the percentage chance that we will have to play with someone to get this valuable from the ship?" Gwenny looked at the woman and then at the rest of the crew. She expected at least the men to say something about the way she was dressed, But she did not care. She did not slow in pace till she reached the doorway to the kitchen area. "who is hungry for breakfast?"
[Bad username: ace mackler]
Ace smiled watching Gwen. He'd been couped up on the boat too long and it was a damn fine sight to see a woman in her almost underthings. Still, he knew better than to say anything. He was rather fond of his man parts being intact and he didn't want to do anything to jeopardize that fact. Plus starring was already back enough. He chuckled lightly and rubbed his chin, averting his eyes when she asked if they were hungry.
"Breakfast would be fine." He said, trying to keep any of his thoughts from escaping in his tone.
greasy_akira
Akira looked up at Gwen, and it was easy to tell the exact moment he noticed what she wore. His eyes bugged, and he opened his mouth as if to say something but nothing came out. Shaking his head, he looked down at his bowl. Then back up once he was a bit more composed. "I'm uh, I mean, uh, I've got," he pointed at his bowl, "and yeah." He sputtered out, eyes darting all around the room, landing on everything but Gwenny.
drunkincapngal
Emerald sighed at Gwen's late arrival and even more so for her lack of clothing. "You would imagine since it took you so long to join us ... that you would have found some sort of outfit to slip on, savvy?? Not that I mind... but did the Furry-knappers raid your wardrobe??" The captain asked with annoyance sounding in her voice. She would have also appreciated the girl joining the rest at the table instead of going to the kitchen, even though she herself had been hungry. Wasn't going to collapse from the lack of food before the discussion was done with.
Emerald's eyes finally shifted back on the companion, she nodded slightly in understanding to his words before. Her other responses to Akira where completely lost due to Gwen. The captain handed off the databook to Ace; it had the coordinates where the ship was expected to be. She turned to Akira, smirking some at his reaction to the late arrival. Emerald had expected more questions but because of the interruption it was no wonder why she hadn't gotten any... not even from Monica.
__walker__
Monica just watched Ms. Hawks, in her mind it was complete and utter disrespect. The captain wasn't done speaking; her attention had just been on Neve. And even though Emerald showed some annoyance at the fact, Monica was a more direct person than most likely everyone in the room. "Yo..." She started glaring at Gwen as she did. "Breakfast can wait till the Captains done speaking. If ya wanted something to eat, ya should have 'een here earlier... beenin' the cook in all!"
Monica didn't care none what her relationship was to the girl, and she didn't care none what her position on the ship was. Rude was rude, and was Monica's job to keep things running smooth.
_oddball_
Oddball eyed Gwen the same as the other men, well not like that of Akira. However despite it had been a while since being planet-side and enjoying the company of a female. He knew his place, and that she out ranked everyone here except the Captain herself, so he simply looked without comment.
The man glanced at Monica. He didn't think that she needed to yell that way towards the lady. "Monica... stop with the negative-ness." He spoke simply, sending a smile in Gwen's direction. "Perhaps you can make food afterwards for those who want it." Oddball told her, while Monica gave him an eyeful.
doctor_dori
Dori just sat quietly, watching the entire crew. Ignoring Gwenny and the slight fiasco she'd ensued by entering the dinning hall the way she had, though not rudely, she looked at the captain. "Capin', how likely is it that I'll be stitchin' a one of you up this time?"
gunner_gwenny
Gwenny had moved to the coffee pot and started to pour herself a mug. She was kinda giggling at Akira and the other men's actions upon her entering the room. Adding just a bit of sugar she rolled her eyes at Monica's comment, then made her way over and took her seat on the captain's right side with out saying a thing.
drunkincapngal
"Well Dori what's the likely-hood that birds have wings?" Emerald told her, she wanted to add for the sheer amusement of it or the likely-hood that Monica is going to shoot somebody today or leased sometime this week? But she refrained from it. "Though, dear, I do hope that things don't boil down to that. I'm hoping everyone sees the civil side of handling this matter for the family's sake. But I would keep the infirmary ready incase some rare out of place thing happens." She warned, nodding at Gwenny when she sat down.
__walker__
Monica just sat in her seat glaring at the crew members around her, mostly just Gwen and Oddball though. Yea, ya best keep ya mouth shut little girl. Monica thought concerning Gwen. Maybe it was all misplaced aggression. But Monica had a bad night, and awful dreams didn't help. Being here was sometimes worse for the woman, with Gwen around all the time. It reminded her of the things she didn't have and that just irked her quite a lot.
doctor_dori
"I was 'fraid you'd say that Capin'." Dori shook her head and sighed a little. "I think I've finally found the most practical way of organizing the room, so that should be just fine.." A small smile, "just in case, of course."
greasy_akira
Akira looked over to Emm again, careful that if he glanced in Gwenny's direction to look at nothing but her face. "Hey Cap," he paused to make sure he had her attention. "how come Dori there gets an answer, but I don't?" He asked, grinning.
[Bad username: ace mackler]
Ace leafed through the coordinates idly as he listened to the rest of the crew discuss the job and suss out what was what. Gwenny's entrance had gone over about as well as a fart in church and that made it a little less tempting to want to stare at her. Ace was always up for a little forbidden fruit, but take the restrictions away and well...
With a sigh Ace looked around, catching the seething stare of Monica's. The meeting had gone from productive and mildly interesting to he wanted nothing more than to get out and get the boat turned in the right direction. Still, he waited like a good little obedient crew member.
[Bad username: neve sharan]
Neve cleared his throat then. "I'm sorry to interrupt Captain, and I hope you will not take it as an account of rudeness on my part," He said bowing his head slightly. "But as I see it my portion of the discussion is past and I believe I shall retire so that I may see if the side trip is necessary." He said standing.
He shook his head slightly as he glanced on Gwen. He was no stranger to the female form, nor the female mind. She was in want of attention, that much he was sure of, though he honestly found her display garish, ill placed and somewhat disrespectful. "I shall speak with you shortly depending upon my answer." She said, giving the captain a half bow, a slight bend at the waist, one hand over his stomach the other behind his back. "Good day all." He said, with a curt smile.
drunkincapngal
Emerald smiled, she didn't purposely forget to comment or rather answer Akira. It was all Gwenny's doing really, it caused Emm's brainpan to get all side tracked. She had nodded at Neve as he took his leave, she understood and didn't see it as rudeness. Plus she'd be more open to speak with him not in the room. Emm glanced at Gwen, what the hell was she thinking?
"Akira, as to your question; you may or may not be able to come along this time." She answered him simply. She settled in to get the whole of what she wanted to say out, afterwards they could scatter to their desired parts of the ship. Was only cooping them all up for so long in one room before something happened.
"Alright first off, once within range I'll contact the ship, which everyone should be aware is the Doranin, it's a contract ship for the Alliance. She ships a lot of cargo to various places, mostly Alliance stuff. Supplies, and find goodies. Apparently from what Roland has said, the Doranin came in procession of this valuable, and his associates have become aware of this fact. And it be our hiring to deal with the crew of Doranin to get it back for those that lost it. We are being paid a fine fee for the simple taking of it, and then once the object is sold off we'll be getting our fifty cut." She tilted her head in jest of her underlining meanings. Roland had worked with Emerald for several years now he was a trust ally and contact, and the crew was aware of his presence.
"Once speaking to the ship's captain, I'll assess the facts. If things are going to go without any of a problem and they surrender over the cargo. Then I'll have Monica bored the ship... and she may take who she wishes. I think Akira it would be alright if you went along, but only after Ms. Walker making sure things shall be going without any trouble. But I ain't sure on how smooth this will go." Emerald honestly didn't think there was a way that this would be done without a fight of some sort. It could be read on her face by those that had been with her the longest. Emerald didn't like fighting with folk, ahh well that wasn't completely true. Especially anyone working for Alliance, but she didn't like fighting when things could be handle much simpler. "But if things look as if it's going to be a mit more difficult, then well ya'll know the drill."
In simple terms first they'll block any outgoing communications before approaching the ship; next the ship would be warned and given the option to hand over the goodies, or fight and loss the goodies. If handing over the cargo wasn't in the idea set of the other ship's captain. Then the heavy weapons officer, Gwen, and shuttle weapons officer, Oddball, would fire upon the ship. First to simply disable her, taking out her engines and power without blowing her up, the Lorrayna Phoenix would fire at her from one angle, and the weaponized shuttles would come around the other angles or sides, and get into tight spots that the full sized ship can't. They would first fire Jammers and Magnetic charges, and if those don't stop the said ship then actual missiles that would cause a bit of damage would be fired. Eventually the Lorrayna Phoenix would dock with the other, once it's disabled and a boarding party would be sent over to disable the actual crew, unless they surrender which is always in the best interested of everyone. The Lorrayna Phoenix crew sent aboard would be given orders to only kill if given no other choice. But wounding in none vital spots are most preferred. Then take what is wanted, and leave the ship to her own fixings, unless the ship was the thing being taken, which in this case it isn't. Unless Emerald was straight out striking at whichever ship and crew, which again she isn't. For those ships, no rules apply and the crew would allowed to do whatever they felt was needed or wanted. It was how it had been for years, and she imagined it would remain so.
greasy_akira
Akria grinned, nodding at the Captain. "Cap, if this goes smooth, I won't be botherin' you for parts for a month."
Then he looked over at Monica, curious if she'd let him come with. Not that he'd fight with her if she said no. He'd just be mildly bummed, is all.
[Bad username: ace mackler]
Ace nodded listening to the Captain. It was a a good enough plan as plans went, and he was sure that they would pull the job off as always. He would be glad of some coin in his pocket and he was hoping that the successful job would mean some time on the ground again. He normally hated being landside, but he could use some R&R, especially after seeig the site of Ms. Gwenny and her little nothings. He could use to time to chase some tail and satisfy some basic urges.
"Does this mean we'll get to see land for a spell in the near future?" He asked a smirk on his face at the thoughts in his head.
gunner_gwenny
Gwen just sat there listening to her capin, and kinda nodded when she mentioned about her part in the job. she just sat there looking at the others who sat askin all their questions. She felt a small movement on her shoulder and realized the the strap to her clothing was falling down her arm and quickly fixed it before anything was aloud to Pop out.
drunkincapngal
Emm smiled at Akira, "Ahh that would be a pleasant surprise." She said jokingly towards him. She actually didn't mind the bother; it meant that he was on top of things. Which was a good thing, the boy treated her ship good, which was all that mattered.
She nodded a bit at Ace's mention of land. "Ayyy, I imagine we will. Would be nice to get you kiddies of the boat for a bit, and let ya play with the other folk for a few days." Emerald didn't mind the long weeks on the ship, she enjoyed herself planet-side. Or leased she tried to enjoy herself, that was usually when she drank the most. Though dear Walker keeps her company usually, unless the captain is grabbling with some fellow. So it was all good, and she knew her crew needed the personal time on land for themselves. And that was usually motive enough.
"Alrighty if there is no other questions, then you are free to do as you wish. Ace set in those coordinates for the Burnham Quadrant. I'll notify you if we need to take a side trip to Athens then. And as always, once we are within sensor detection of the Doranin, let me know before she scans us."
__walker__
Monica raised a brow, glancing in Akira's direction. It was almost playful like, that being if it wasn't Monica doing it. Being that it was her, her thoughts on the matter were completely unreadable by the look.
With that Monica nodded to the captain, she stood and took her cup over to the coffee. She refilled her cup with the black stuff. The red head turned and exited the room; she went to prepare the few things that would need done, and to finish the cleaning of her guns. She would grab some food later when there was less folk in the dinning hall.
greasy_akira
"Off the boat, with other folk?" Tilting his head, much like a large dog, Akira joked. "Why Cap, you sure you should be lettin' some of us play with others?"
He beamed Monica a smile at her look. Then picked up his mostly empty bowl and took it in to rinse out. Things had looked good when he'd check on them before, but something could have happened by now. He rubbed a hand over his cheek, spreading the grease more, then headed back into the the dinning room. "I don't see you sooner, then I'll see ya at lunch." And with a wave, he followed Monica in her exit.
_oddball_
Oddball smirked, "I do believe the boy is right." He added more seriously. Was no doubt whom he was referring to. The one person he could almost guaranteed to start some shiny fight planet-side. He shook his head, What a crew... he thought with amusement. Better than the bunch in the war.
Oddball too took his plate into the kitchen to washout. He hummed an old song while he did. He didn't leave just yet, though he planned to go settle in his shuttle for a spell before seeing to any sort of work type things needing done before Gwen would check up on the weapons.
[Bad username: ace mackler]
Ace smiled. "Well thank ya Captain." He took the book of coordinates and gave her a mini salute as he did so. "I'll be off then." He stood, walking toward the door and stopped at the entrance. He couldn't help himself, and before he ducked out he turned back, looking to Gwen. "And might I say Gwen, it's been a pleasure seeing you." And with a final chuckle he stepped out the door and made for the bridge.
