Teo was too stressed, too worked up to be tactful. He couldn't coddle Sophie's feelings, even if he'd wanted to. He ignored Sophie's glare, but Jason's had him flinching slightly, shrugging his shoulders a little.
"Sorry," he murmured, wincing as Sophie stormed out of the room. He didn't envy Jason calming her down, and it was pretty much his fault.
"You want me to-" he gestured towards the kitchen. "Try talking to her? Or should I just go?" No prizes for guessing what Mateo would prefer to do.
