He couldn't help but smile, carefully watching Tad's face as he spoke.
"Anyone would think you're a bit too interested in the dynamics between Derby and I," he said. "In case you don't forget, I wasn't the one screaming out for him in the schoolyard prior to the speech-- perhaps you'd be better to go and ask him about things if you're so interested."
There. See if he'd actually do it. See how Derby would react-- most likely in a manner that would assure Tad that he really wasn't that much of an ally afterall.
He smiled nastily, a hand reaching up to stroke his chin. He considered lighting a cigarette, but knew that could wait.
"I thought you were Derby's new plaything for the moment, anyway," Bif said. "He seemed to suggest as much when I was talking to the two of you earlier." He paused. "How does it feel, Spencer? Enjoying yourself?" He chuckled to himself, the cold air suddenly getting to him along with the desire to get that drink he'd promised himself earlier and that line of coke.
