Question about "Spoilers"...
The idea of 're-reads' or 're-watchings' is always a welcomed one.
I participated in two Harry Potter re-readings leading up to the last book.
It was interesting mostly to see how the two groups handled 'spoilers'.
One group treated each chapter reading as if it were the first time they read it. That meant that people would try and remember the questions they had after reading the chapter initially. It was cute, but difficult, because that meant that if someone had a question, you couldn't answer it by mentioning a later book or chapter.
So, for instance: Questions about Harry's scar from Book One, couldn't be answered by quotes and other dead-giveaways from Book 2, Book 4, and Book 5...
Is that how this comm will function? I mean, it's kinda cute -- and fun -- and it would add to the 'reliving the moment' aspect of the community. But it is hard to maintain... but it may be worth it, yeah?
