...You've gotta be KIDDING.
Who: Ginny and Lilly Where: Ginny's apartment When: Late tuesday night
After the little 'incident' with Paige, the first thing that Lilly did was lock up all of her doors and windows and headed straight for Ginny's place. Well, she did that after making sure that Paige wasn't hanging around in any shadows. She wasn't sure if her Jewish Star of David necklace would work like the cross did, but she put it around her neck anyway and carried the cross in her pocket as she rushed over to Ginny's place. She just hoped that she wasn't going to interrupt some date thing with Lexi. That didn't matter though. She rushed over to Ginny's apartment and started banging on the door. "Ginny! I need to talk to you!" God, she hoped that the girl was OK. Did Paige already get to her? Fuck...
Ginny was almost asleep when she heard the commotion at her door. Could Lilly have suddenly decided that she wanted to defintiely stay in the band? No... she wouldn't react like THIS over something like that, would she? Wearing only a baggy Led Zep t-shirt that was JUST long enough to act as a nightgown, she stumbled out into the living room, grumbling. Thank god she hadn't invited Lexi to stay over tonight... "Hold on, hold on..." she unlatched the lock, opening it. "Lil? What's going on?"
The first thing that Lilly did was ask, "Have you seen Paige? You didn't let her into your home, did you?" she tilted her head to look at Ginny's neck, and didn't see any bite marks. She walked past Ginny and got inside, slamming the door behind her and locking it as well.
"Um... Lil? You alright? I think I'm the LAST person Paige wants to see right now." She actually glared a little. "And right now? It's pretty mutual."
"No, Paige came by my apartment," Lilly said, taking a deep breath before she went on. She felt like she had been holding her breath since Paige tried to attack her. "She's a vampire, Gin. She's a vampire and she tried to attack me!"
"Whoa... waitwhat?" Ginny looked like she was still sleeping, and trying to wake up. "Is... is this your idea of a joke, Lil? Look... I'm SORRY about everything. I didnt want to do what I did... but she did exactly the one thing I asked her NOT to."
"Do I look like I'm joking?" Lilly asked, aghast that she would even think so. She yanked the cross out of her pocket. "Would I of all people be packing one of these around if I were joking?"
"...oh... bloody HELL." She muttered, inadvertantly saying something Irene would. "Oh, sweetheart... are you ok?" She asked, pulling the girl quickly inside and hugging her tightly.
"No, I just had the demon wearing the face of my best friend try to eat me," Lilly snapped. "I'm definitely not fucking OK. She can get into my apartment any time she wants to now."
"Irene's a witch... I'll get her to find some kind of spell or something... something that can get her, I dunno, UNinvited." Ginny said, trying to be soothing, trying to remember that Lilly was likely in a panic, and not TRYING to snap at her. "Come on... let me get you a drink, calm you down a little."
Lilly herself was shaking. She still couldn't believe that any of this was happening. However, it really, really was. Her best friend was a vampire, and not the cuddly type that Ann Rice writes about, either. A real, nasty bloodsucker. "A drink...sure..."
"C'mon..." she sighed, stroking Lilly's hair nervously. "Look, forget last week, ok? The band stuff... thats not important right now. You're my friend, alright? I just wanna make sure you're gonna be alright."
"I had just wanted to talk to her first," Lilly said. "I couldn't get in touch with her for a week, and then she shows up at my apartment like everything's OK, and then she just starts spouting off and trying to bite me."
"Shhh... don't worry about anything, ok? You can stay here for now. She can't get in here." Ginny nibbled her lip as she wondered how to handle this. She knew she needed to call Irene and Lexi, let them both know what was going on... hell, they were both likely to be Paige's next targets.
Lilly seemed to be on the same thought path. "You need to call Irene and Lexi to let them know. Hell, call anyone Delany hangs out with, for that matter." She couldn't even remember what she had told Ginny already. She was still reliving the nightmare in her head.
"S'alright, darlin'... I'm already thinking that. Just curl up on the couch, find something on TV to watch, and I'll make the calls." Ginny felt like HELL... she'd never seen Lilly this.. fragile.
Lilly had always been stoic and non-emotion showing. This was...well, something entirely new to see. She slumped down onto the sofa. "Just go make the calls," she said.
