Someone's Always Ruining the Fun
Who: Mere, Willow, and a surprise
Where: Random Club
When: Late Night
Mere was feeling a bit predatory tonight, and, when she felt like that, she avoided her friends and family like the plague. She cared about them dearly, and didn't want to hurt them. Also, she didn't want to bring down the wrath of Gwen and the Slayer squad on her head. Still, she had to deal with these urges somehow, and she wasn't exactly inclined to ignore them. She liked them. So, instead, she decided to search out for the other vampire that she knew, Willow. She started to wander the clubs, grabbing a snack or two along the way. Nothing was too filling, though.
Sauntering out of the ladies room, Willow gave a bit of a sad pout, almost a slight skipping motion to her step as she flitted out onto the dance floor, her pale skin in contrast to the black leather and red lace of her outfit.
When Mere caught sight of Willow, she smiled and made her way over. "Why the pout, sweetheart?" she asked her. "Something upset you?"
"Bored now." The redhead said as she wiped a droplet of blood from her lips, her eyes flickering black for a second or two before going back to their normal shade. "I had a pretty new toy, but she broke. Once I fed, I had to use my magic to make her disappear."
"They do tend to break pretty easily," Mere commented with a sigh. "At least you have the magic to make the mess disappear. The rest of us still have to make due with bleach." Or fire, but fire had it's own list of problems.
"There's no more screaming or fighting now, and it's really no fun at all." She pouted again, letting out a tiny sigh this time.
"That's why we have to find one that will scream a lot and not break too easily," Mere told her. "Find a strong one."
Willow grinned cutely and pointed to a lithe, yet energetic young brunette doing her thing on the dance floor. "Oooo... we should play with her. I bet she'd be like drinking coffee..."
"Hmm...she does look like she'd taste like a latte," Mere said with a grin. "Even a sugary one."
Willow caught the girl's eye, and gave her a come-hither curl of the forefinger, winking and roping an arm around Meredith's waist. She certainly knew how to draw them in... as the girl approached her, Willow whispered something into the girl's ear, which made the girl giggle and blush slightly, then nod with a bit of eager excitement. "Hmmm... our little friend here would like to go out back with us, dear..."
Mere grinned as she watched the little girl giggle and blush. "I think we can have that arranged," she said, smiling at the little girl.
As the three left the club, and walked around back... Willow grinned as she noted that thankfully, there was nobody else there. As she looked back to the younger girl, her face suddenly morphed into it's hideous vamp visage. The girl screamed, and turned to Meredith, obviously hoping for help.
Mere's own face had already morphed as well. "Don't look at me for help, sweetheart," she said. "I'm feeling a little too hungry to really help you out."
Willow grabbed the girl from behind, sinking her fangs into the left side of her neck, sighing as she drank deep.
Mere leaned over and bit her on the right side of her neck. Now this was much more satisfying than the little goth girl from the last club.
Willow reached over, stroking Meredith's hair as they fed, almost like she were kissing Mere. As they were finishing, an athletic, pretty blonde came walking out, grinning. "Want some dessert, ladies?"
Mere looked up in some confusion. Had they stumbled upon another Slayer. "Who's offering?"
Willow growled, stalking toward the blonde, only to be quickly flipped to the ground, judo-style. A stake suddenly swung down at the redhead, luckily missing her heart by inches. The blonde stepped forward, grinning sarcastically. "Name's Buffy Summers... and jeez, Delaney... I thought I'D changed since Sunnydale..."
Mere shrugged. "No need to get testy. Just grabbing a bite." She wasn't sticking around for this. Mere did *not* need this kind of crap. "It's a Slayer, Willow. Not worth messing with." She was ready to bolt at a moment's notice as it was.
Willow staggered to her feet, growling as she suddenly shoved Buffy from behind, surprising her enough to grab Meredith by the wrist, dragging her away. "There'll be another day for us, Slayer!"
Mere bolted with Willow. Damn Slayers, always ruining their fun! She thought that she had gotten away from this crap when she left Sunnydale!
Buffy watched them run, crouching down to see if she could help the girl, glaring at the two vamps as they ran. "Yeah... there will DEFINITELY be another day for us."
