Playing With the Most Abnormally Named Dog EVER
Who: Eve and Deanna
Where: Eve's Apartment
When: Friday Morning, 3/11
Eve hadn't mentioned her 'talk' with Kayla to Deanna yet. However, she figured that Kayla would do it as soon as she happened to run across Dee. Eve had half a damn mind to either ask Ash to put a curses on her or do it herself (she knew how, but she also knew that Ash was FAR more powerful than she could ever bee with magic). However, while Dee was still sleeping in Eve's bed (she had spent the night last night), Eve was blowing off some steam with Winston the Chihuahua.
"Come here, Winston!" she squealed to him. Amazingly, the little chihuahua had already figured out his retardedly mundane name, and came scrambling to her from his food bowl. She was actually rolling on the floor with him in moments, teasing him with a squeaky duck and seeing if she could get him to roll over as well. Basically she was looking like a fool at the moment, rolling around in her satin white nightie with a dog, but it wasn't like there was anyone around to see her, huh?
Dee had finally woken up (after a HORRIBLE night's sleep) and ambled out in her black silk nightgown, eyes red and puffy from having cried herself to sleep. So when the first thing she saw was THAT? Well. "...am I in the Twilight Zone or something? Where's Eve? And what did you do with her?"
Winston had actually started digging and playing in Eve's hair when Dee had walked in. Knowing that, in the club, Eve hated it when a customer TOUCHED her hair? This was nothing short of amazing. Eve sat up like she had been a kid with her hand caught in the cookie jar. "Um...no? Just me." she said, sounding a little embarrassed.
Dee gave a sad smile, sitting down quietly. "You don't have to hide that side of you around me.." She said with a blink. "Or ANY side of you. But that especially. I love goofy and playful."
Eve gave a smile and ruffled Dee's already messed up hair slightly. "I guess I'm not used to showing it to people," she admitted. "People kind of expect me to be always 'on' and seductive." She then did something hilarious. She bent down and rolled Winston over and blew a raspberry onto his belly, which seemed to cause him to kick up his little legs all the more. "How can I not get goofy with this little rascal, though?"
"I like your sexiness, sweetheart... But I'd rather see you like this. I get enough of 'seductive' at work every night. It's... a little cliche to me by now." She smiled again watching her with the dog, although it still had an edge of sadness to it.
"Admittedly, it just takes me a bit to let my guard down," Eve admitted. "I want to do that with you, though." She knew that Dee was upset because of her conflict about who she wanted to be with. She started absently rubbing Winston's face so that he would start nipping at her fingers. "I think we should go clothing shopping for him soon. I have FAR too much money to not spend gobs of it on clothing my dog." Men tended to THROW money at her, for some reason or another. "We could do that today and have lunch out if you're feeling up to it."
"As long as you don't mind me being... kinda mopey at times." Dee knew she wasn't exactly a whirlwind of fun right now...
She leaned over and sweetly kissed Dee on the lips. "As long as I'm spending time with you, I'm happy," she said.
"I hope it stays that way." Dee sighed, nuzzling into the other blonde. "Because I'm a MESS right now."
Eve pulled Dee into her arms and snuggled with her, nuzzling into her hair. "Maybe, but you're MY mess, and I wouldn't want anyone else right now." She reached down and picked up Winston with one hand (he all but fit into her palm he was so tiny right now). "Besides, dressing up this little booger? You can't stay sad when he's in a sailor suit."
"That's... actually a decent point. Kinda hard to be upset with this little munchkin yipping and running around." Dee grinned and hugged Eve, wondering if Mere OR Kayla would ever seem as... devoted to her as the succubus did.
Eve grinned and Dee back as Winston started to chew on Eve's hair again. She turned and cutely glared at the puppy. "What IS your obsession with my hair, anyway?" she asked. In response, he barked and licked her nose. "I need to brush your teeth," she said, wrinkling her nose a little.
"He... does sorta have death!breath... " Dee admitted with a laugh, finding herself feeling oddly... home.
"I'll pick up some doggie toothpaste while we're out later," Eve said. She had forgotten to buy some during her last doggie shopping spree. "Apparently it comes in beef flavor." Someone had been doing reading on dog stuff, huh?
"Ok, ok... Let me go get some clothes on and we'll go..." Dee said with a defeated little laugh. Who knew Eve would get so excited about shopping? Or that Dee would actually have clothes here?
Eve nodded. "I should probably get dressed, too," she said, extracting her hair from Winston and setting him back on the ground. "As long as we eat outside, we can bring him with us." She HATED having to lock him up while she was away.
