Worrying and Planning
Who: Bastian and Meeghan
Where: Their place
When: Tuesday Afternoon, February 22nd
Bastian was currently sitting on the couch in the living room with one jean-clad thigh crossed under the other as she looked through college pamphlets (of all things) with a thoughtful frown on her face. "I should talk to my parents before we go," she said to Meeghan, loud enough so that she could hear, since she was in the bedroom. "Give them contact numbers, just in case."
"So they can constantly come out to check on you throughout the length of the tour?" Meeghan commented back in a voice that carried from the bedroom out into the living room. The dark haired singer was only partially joking in what she had said.
"They... wouldn't do that, would they?" Bastian asked with a light frown, not really getting that Meeghan was joking. Although, in thinking about it, Neely and Rachelle probably would do something like that, if only to mess with her. "But that's not what I meant. If something happened here while we were gone, they could at least get into contact with us." She'd likely never say it aloud, but... she wanted to be able to talk to them, as well. She'd miss them.
"I've got the itinerary in here somewhere, babe." Meeghan called back. A moment later the singer emerged from their bedroom with the itinerary in her hand as she walked to the living room and sat down next to the leggy blond. "We'll be on the road more often then not during the whole tour thing," Meeghan started telling her girlfriend as she offered the print out of their itinerary to her, "so you'll probably want to keep your cell on at all time. You know, just in case your moms decide to call you."
"Thanks," Bastian murmured, taking the itinerary and looking it over briefly before setting it down in her lap. "Before I … moved in here, I didn't go out much, so... I got used to hearing their voices," Bastian explained, actually opening up a little. She sighed and set the papers down on the coffee table, turning to face Meeghan. "Are you nervous?"
"Right now? I can honestly say no, but can't guarantee I won't be once I have to get up on that stage. Which is why you have a seat front and center at each concert." Meeghan smiled looping and arm around her girlfriend to draw her a bit closer. "I want something... someone there I can focus on if need be." If she did happen to get nervous during a performance, Meeghan knew that being able to focus on Bastian would help ease those nerves greatly.
Bastian smiled faintly and gently pressed her forehead to Meeghan's, as always, unable to keep from touching her in some way when they were in such close proximity. "Then I'll be there for every single performance and afterward I'll be there to... well." She gave Meeghan a lopsided smirk. Hrmh. Was it any wonder where her mind went then?
"Gonna need something to help me relax and unwind after each show." Meeghan grinned back. The young woman then leaned over to kiss her girlfriend lovingly on the lips. "You are the best thing that's happen to me, Bastian Martin-Bale."
Bastian smiled into the kiss and looped a hand around Meeghan's waist, tracing her fingers just above the hem of her pants. Of course, Bastian could have said the same thing. If it weren't for Meeghan, she'd likely be the same emotionless drone as she was when she first arrived in LA. What she did say, however, was: "I love you, so SO much."
"I love you too, baby." Meeghan murmured softly against those tasty lips she so enjoyed kissing. And truer words had never been spoken by the dark haired singer. In fact she had never thought she'd ever be saying those three little words to anyone, but then Bastian wasn't just anyone to Meeghan, never had been from that first time she met the leggy blond.
"We've still got a few days," Bastian murmured against Meeghan's lips, unable to help from smiling against them now as something devilish came to mind. "Why don't we take advantage of our bed while we still can?"
"I do like how you think, Tinkerbell." Meeghan grinned as she kissed her girlfriend briefly, but quite passionately. She had never found her bed more appealing then when Bastian started sharing it with her.
