Putting Out Some Feelers...And Fixing the Damn Door
Who: Catherine and Brandon
Where: Their Apartment
When: Saturday Afternoon, Jan. 29th
Catherine had dropped Brandon off at the recording studio this morning after they drove back from his mother's, and she hadn't expected her day to turn toward cutting the hell out of a pimp and cleaning blood out of her floor. And yet, here she was, having cleaned up the floor a few hours ago and was now repairing the door that said pimp had decided to kick in in an effort to try and take Keegan back. She was actually more handy with tools other than swords than people realized. Maybe it was her training in physics, since she actually enjoyed mechanical physics as well. She'd had to replace the hinges on the door, and now was installing a few more locks, more for Keegan's sanity than anything else. She didn't expect the pimp to come back any time soon.
So when Brandon walked in, smile on his face and skip to his step, he stopped in his tracks when he saw Catherine playing Bob The Builder. "...what the fuck did *I* miss???"
Catherine had actually been humming to herself when he came in. "Oh, a pimp came in and tried to take Keegan back," Catherine said as if she were reciting a grocery list. "I took care of him, though. He won't be back." She sounded almost disturbingly Bond-villain-esque when she said that.
"I know I should find that disconcerting... But maybe its just the family I'm from but god DAMN did I find that hot." He blinked, shaking his head. "You really ARE one hell of a woman, Cat."
She gave him a smirk. "I think your family may be rubbing off on me," she pointed out. "Ever since I got Keegan calmed down I've been all riled up waiting for you to get home." Sad but true there. "She's asleep in the spare room now."
"Well, with how SHE looks, with you so riled up its a good thing yer totally straight..." He snicked, taking her by the waist and kissing the side of her neck.
She chuckled. Just as good of a time to bring it up now as any, huh? "Well, I'd never suggest this with her...but I was thinking of maybe of wanting to bring a girl home...you know, for us." She looked up at him. "What do you think?"
"I... are you serious?" He stammered, as previously Catherine had shown NO interest in even LOOKING at women. "Maybe one of those cute girls you work with or something?"
She smiled at him, knowing that she had caught him completely off guard. "I can approach the subject with a few," she said playfully to him. Most of them were at least bi, anyway. "Catch you off guard?"
"Just... Just a little, yeah." He blushed a bit then, "but not in a bad way..."
She laughed again. "Well, glad it's not in a bad way," she told him. "I've just been feeling...more experimental lately." She saw it as a good thing.
"God, I love how much more... aggressive you've been lately..." Aaaand there's that word again, huh?
She smirked at him. "And you like that, don't you?" she asked him playfully. She could already that he did.
"Well, YEAH... Of course." He laughed, shrugging and TRYING not to show how much it actually excited him...
She laughed. "Then I shall definitely put out the feelers to see if anyone is interested." She gave his arm a slight tug. "I am done with the locks...so...bedroom?"
"Like you have to ask twice?" He asked with a laugh, scooping her up in his arms, already kind of wondering if any of her friends would actually be willing to go through with this...
She giggled when he scooped her up. She only made him stop so that she could double lock the door and make sure they had no more surprises tonight before having him carry her off to the bedroom. She wasn't *too* sure who she'd ask for this; she'd definitely have to think on it.
