Who: Juliet and Hamilton
Where: The Residence of Robert Charles Hamilton
When: Saturday Night, January 29
Juliet had been away for a few short days on one of her "trips", and upon her return to L.A. the woman grabbed a cab to Hamilton's place rather then head directly home. Jules knew that if she went home she'd end up crashing for the night and by the time she awoke it would be too late to pay a visit to the vampire. And she wanted him to know she was back now instead of having to wait another day. Yes she could have phoned to relay such information to him, but Juliet wanted to deliver that information in person. Paying the driver once he had pulled up to the curb in front of Hamilton's place, Juliet got out with her travel bag in hand and headed up to his door to ring the bell.
Hamilton, believe it or not, owned a large house... well, mansion really, that overlooked the beach and was sitting in the library, reading an old book. Hearing the bell, he plodded over and opened the front door, dressed in a simple robe. He didn't plan to go out that evening, so why bother getting dressed? He smiled warmly when he spotted Juliet and stepped to one side to allow her entry. "There's a familiar face."
"I had hoped you'd be home." Juliet expressed with a smile stepping into the man's house. And she was also a bit relieved that she hadn't come all the way there to find that had gone out for the night. "And I hope I'm not interrupting anything." Judging by what he was wearing, Juliet was thinking not, but it was better to make that statement rather then just assume he was alone if that should have turned out to be the case.
"Not... in the slightest," he admitted with an embarrassed chuckle, briefly flashing the book that he'd been reading. "I was fully prepared to have a night in alone, but I'd much rather spend it with you." My, couldn't he be a charmer? He smiled and smooched her on the cheek before leading her into the living area. "How was your... trip? Did everything go as planned?"
"Everything went quite smoothly." But then it usually did, Juliet was too good at her profession to let any slip-ups occur. Following him from the door, where she let her bag slip from her grasp to fall to the floor just inside the door, into the living room, Juliet couldn't help but glance around the massive interior of his house. Or mansion as the case seemed to be.
The living area was fairly large and lavish with bookshelves, a chess table and a small TV over in one corner. It was obvious that he'd been sitting by the fireside, as one chair and footrest were drawn a little closer than its twin. While he didn't really get cold, he liked the feel of the warm fire. "Good. I'd... REALLY hate it if something happened to you." He brushed a hand through her hair and smiled faintly. "Now... would you like anything to eat or drink?"
Juliet smiled warmly to the man catching his wrist as his hand smoothed through her hair. "I'm fine at the moment." She mentioned softly bringing his hand to her lips to gently kiss the palm. "Only thing I want at the moment is your company." While she had kept her focus on the job before and during, it was afterward that she had let her thoughts drift to a certain vampire back in L.A. To say she had miss him would have been an accurate assessment of her feelings.
"Well, that much I can do for you," he replied, leading her over to the chair that he'd been in a moment before, he sat down and gently guided her into his lap, bringing his feet back up upon the footrest. It was a … surprisingly bold thing for him to do, but let's just say that he missed her and leave it at that, hrmh?
"This has to be the most comfortable seat in your whole entire house." Juliet said with a gentle smile running her fingers through the man's hair. "The fire's a nice touch to." Juliet commented reclining back to rest herself against Hamilton's chest.
"It is," he agreed with her, lowering his head slightly to take in her scent. God, if he didn't love the way that she smelled. Everything in his house was aesthetically pleasing, come to think of it. He'd been collecting and building for decades. "Would you like to stay the night?"
"I think I'd like that." Juliet answered softly shifting herself a bit on the man's lap so her side rested now against his chest. One hand laid lightly on one shoulder as Juliet rested her head gently against the other. This all felt naturally comfortable to Juliet. Just sitting her pretty much in silence with Hamilton had her feeling a contentment she had never felt before. Like it all was meant to be from their first random meeting to this very point in time.
"Good." He smiled faintly and stopped breathing her in, his chest halting altogether as another sense took over. He could hear her heartbeat and the thrum was almost like music to his ears. God, how delicious that sound was to him. He blinked out of his reverie then and slowly traced his fingers along the length of her spine.
That was a soothing feeling to her. The way his fingers felt trailing slowly along her spine. It had Juliet sighing a soft sigh of contentment as her lids fluttered closed. "Have you done anything while I was gone other then work and keep yourself confined to the house with leather bound books?" She inquired in almost a whisper.
"Not a whole lot," he replied, his voice equally quiet."...I have a personal assistant now. Her name is Sage. She's... a private girl, which suits me just fine," he admitted. He generally didn't pry into people's lives, if he could help it. "She helps me keep on top of my affairs... Investments... Banking details, small things like that."
"That's good." Juliet said softly. Juliet felt Hamilton got too wrapped up in his work sometimes. Now with an assistant maybe he would allow more time for himself and not let work continue to consume him.
He nodded. He rather liked Sage, in all honesty... he wouldn't trust her with certain details, otherwise. He placed a small kiss to Juliet's temple. "Would you like to go to bed?" He asked... since she seemed quieter than usual.
"If you'll go with me." She said softly with a light smile. It had been a long flight back to L.A. and while she was tired, Juliet was depriving herself of sleep to be able to spend time with him. It had, after all, been why she stopped here instead of heading straight home to her loft.
"Of course," he replied, realizing that it was second nature to go wherever she went now. "I have pajamas upstairs that you can change into," he added. It was more for her comfort that he'd committed to memory what size she'd wear than anything, which was why he'd bought clothes for her recently to change into while she was at his home, if need be. He lifted her up carefully and stood with her, picking her up and carrying her. She wasn't an invalid... but he liked to do things like that.
That was one of the reasons why Juliet was finding herself falling in love with the vampire. He always seemed to take her into consideration. Not that he had too or that she expected him to. Hamilton just seemed to do it because he wanted to. And it had never been in a smothering way. They both had their own lives, which neither seemed to question the other about, yet they always managed to make time for each other. Like tonight. "I could have just worn one of your shirts." Juliet told him curling an arm loosely around his neck when Hamilton started carrying her from the room.
"You should be comfortable," he explained quietly as he led her carefully and quietly up the stairs to his bedroom, taking one step at a time. "I … just think that that's the least I could do for you," he added as he flipped on the light switch to his room, making sure to put the dimmer on. His room was... well, large, but for the most part, empty. He didn't like things in there that could potentially distract him. There was a King-sized bed, a tall-boy and two dresser tables, along with two lamps on either side of the bed and thick drapes over the windows. He set Juliet down on one side of the bed. "You'll find what you need in the top draw... and the bathroom's just ahead of you," he added.
Juliet let her hand linger at the nape of his neck after Hamilton set her down on the bed and drew him in for a kiss after he spoke. "Thank you." Smiling up appreciatively to the man. Juliet would have been comfortable that night wearing either something feminine or one of Hamilton's shirt to sleep in. "I'll just be a moment." She stated standing to her feet and making the short walk to the dresser. Choosing something from the top drawer, Juliet then headed for the bathroom to change.
He nodded and let her go, rounding to the opposite side of the bed, he took off his robe and placed it on the bedside table. He, himself, was wearing a pair of PJ bottoms and a wife-beater. He usually liked to wear boxers and said wife-beater, but given that he had two new women in his life... he didn't want to make either of them uncomfortable. He switched off the overhead light, leaving the bedside lights on and slipped into the side of the bed that was furthest from the bathroom, turning towards a main source of light curiously. "I hope it's to your taste," he called to her.
"I like it." Juliet called back. Wasn't what she generally wore to bed, but then she wasn't at her own place at the moment. Stepping out of the bathroom carrying her travel clothes and now wearing a long, black and white tank and matching pajama pants, Juliet switched off the light. Setting her folded clothes on one of the dressing table chairs, Juliet then joined Hamilton in his bed. "Either you're quite good at judging what size a woman wears or you actually looked to see what size I am." She smiled softly cuddling up against the vampire after drawing the covers over herself.
"I have a very good eye," he confirmed with a soft chuckle as he brushed a hand through her hair soothingly. For a Vampire... Hamilton was very peculiar, wasn't he? Soulless, sure... but any other Vampire would have made noms of Juliet a long time ago. Then again, even in his human life he was a bit odd.
"Indeed you do at that." Juliet smiled. And though she knew of their existence, Hamilton was the first vampire she had ever met, and he certainly wasn't anything like she had expected a creature of the night to be.
He gave her a toothy smile and tugged her close, almost possessively, and brushed hair from her face. Being a Vampire, he could see well in the dark, so he could see her eyes... and the tempting pulse of her heartbeat in her neck. He fixed on that for a moment, frowning thoughtfully.
When pulled closer Juliet smiled softly, unaware of the possible thoughts cruising through the vampire's mind, as she snuggled against him with a light nuzzling of his neck. She could feel the coolness of his body against the warm of the unclothed parts of her body and going with the moment her mouth sought out his. Juliet was tired from her trip back to L.A., but she wasn't that tired to slip in a little make-out session with the vampire. She after all had missed him and now having him in such a close proximity. Well, it was hard to fight the obvious chemistry between them with the way he held her, and made the temptation all that much harder to deny.
Hamilton returned the kiss, hooking an arm around her waist with a small groan, a hand running across that pulse point in her neck as he felt her heartbeat quicken and her face start to flush. It was just … all too tempting. He trailed small kisses along her jawline to her neck and pinned her back on the bed. Unable to help himself, he changed his face to its Vampiric form and sunk his fangs into her neck.
Juliet breathed heavily feeling his lips against the warmth of her skin as he kissed down from the line of her jaw to the curve of her neck. "Hamilton." She breathed out softly with a hand slipped beneath his shirt to ride slowly along his backside just as his teeth sunk into her neck. That caught a sharp gasp from the woman, and though there was pain from his bite, Juliet also experienced pleasure from what Hamilton was doing.
He sunk his teeth in deeper then, drinking from her life force as he repositioned on top of her, feeling his own arousal build as he took that life away from her. He seemed to calm down enough, however, to stop drinking and lick at the wounds that he'd created in her neck, pinning her arms to either side of her.
Caught beneath him now in no real position to move, Juliet opened her eyes still feeling his mouth at her neck, and now feeling more tired and weak then when she had first joined Hamilton in his bed.
He seemed to realize that and grumbled at his own lack of control, pulling back slightly to look her in the eyes, despite the fact that he was still in "Vamp Face". "I'm... sorry, I should have asked," he murmured, searching her eyes to see any hint of confusion or fear.
Smiling gently up to him with no sign of fear readable within her eyes, Juliet traced her fingertip ever so lightly over the lines of his still contorted features. "I'm not going to hold it against you." He could have devoured her and left her nothing but an empty shell of a woman, but he hadn't. Juliet knew he cared too much for her to end her life in such an uncaring and disrespectful manner. And it was within that moment that Juliet realized just how deeply she had fallen in love with Hamilton. And it was then she found herself speaking the words in a soft whisper. "I love you." Her hand resting at the side of his neck with her thumb caressing tenderly along his cheek.
He believed that with every fiber of his being and smiled then... reverting back into his human form. "I love YOU," he told her. Some might have argued that demons didn't LOVE, but … whatever he felt was damn near CLOSE to it, that was for sure. He kissed her as tenderly as he could, then, despite the sexual hunger that had grown within him. "Very much."
Juliet welcomed that kiss without hesitation as a weak smile curved, and if it wouldn't have been for her weakened state induced by being fed from, Juliet would have been more then willing to show Hamilton just how much she was loving him at that moment. "Is it always like that? The pain/pleasure aspect of being bitten." For Juliet it had been more a pleasurable experience rather then a painful one and she couldn't help wonder what it would be like to be bitten while within the full throws of lovemaking with the vampire.
"Not always," he admitted, shaking his head lightly. "It... depends on the vampire and the situation." And... the 'victims' pain tolerance, honestly... but he didn't say that. "It can be... much better," he told her, leaving it at that, since she seemed tired enough to begin with. "Or ten times worse." He licked his lips, getting the blood off of them before it dried.
"I think it could only be better with you." Not that she was anywhere near a pain slut, and if her feelings for Hamilton hadn't grown as deep as they had, Juliet might have attempted to stop him the instant she felt his teeth penetrate the curve of her neck. "I don't want to think that anything between us could be bad." She added in a soft murmur snuggling up against the man once more.
"I don't think that it would be," he replied honestly, wrapping his arms around her once again, content enough just to hold her for now. "But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, won't we?" He asked softly.
"I trust you." The whispering of words flowing as Juliet snuggled even closer into the man. It was only a natural thing that trust would come along with the deep feelings of love the woman had for the vampire. He had given her no reason to feel otherwise since that first night they had met. For now, though, just like Hamilton, Juliet was content with just being held within his arms.
