Cheering Jodi Up
Who: Jodi and TJ
Where: Jodi's place
When: Monday, January 31st
Now, despite the fact that Jodi had texted her and said that she wasn't coming to her place today because she was in a bad mood after a terrible day at school, TJ decided that that just wasn't good enough and that she'd go to Jodi instead. HOPEFULLY she'd be able to cheer her up. Especially with the outfit that she'd specifically picked out just for the girl. She was let inside the Hanson house by Jodi's dad and pointed in the direction of the girls room and made her way over, knocking on the door. "It's TJ. Can I come in?"
The outfit that TJ had picked out specifically for Jodi? Was ankle high heeled boots, stockings that had a spiderweb pattern that went to mid-thigh, a barely seen lace mini-skirt which was covered by an oversized white t-shirt with a black upside down cross on it, over which she wore a multi-colored fake-fur jacket that barely went waist high. Her long hair was down and messy and she had a bowler cap on her head, her eyes heavy with black mascara. "I promise you won't regret it," she lilted.
"Trust me, TJ... you reallllly don't wanna come in. Seriously..." came the slightly shaky voice of young Jodi, who, while TRYING to sound normal, sounded vaguely like she was trying not to cry. Plus? When the HELL did she turn TJ away? Seriously?
TJ frowned lightly, thinking something had to be TERRIBLY wrong for Jodi to say that. "Oh, honey," she murmured, more to herself as she opened the door and stepped inside, quietly shutting it behind her. "What happened...?"
Well. When she got in? The first thing she'd see is Jodi, tears drying in her eyes... and with a slightly bruised cheek. Sweetly, she'd been wearing the little plaid skirt she KNEW TJ liked so much. "Don't worry about it... it was... just an accident, I think..."
"WHAT was just an accident?" TJ bristled, moving over to Jodi she gently brushed the hair from her face, clear concern in her eyes as she looked the other girl over.
"I was arguing with a couple kids, and one of them called you a slut and said I was stupid if I ever thought you'd do more than use me and throw me away." She sniffled. "So I slapped him in the face and walked away and he mighta shoved me in the back and I mighta accidently fallen down a few of the steps."
"Oh, sweetheart..." TJ breathed. Carefully cupping Jodi's cheeks, she wiped the tears from her eyes with her thumbs. "Who was it?" She asked, keeping her voice deceptively calm.
"Let it go, TJ, please..." Jodi begged, not wanting the girl to get kicked out of school... which she feared would happen if she had a chance to 'avenge' this.
"Tell me," TJ replied, her voice firm now. Anger didn't even BEGIN to describe what she was feeling right now.
"Jeff Conrad, ok? That guy that hangs out with Haggarty and all the football players. I... I don't think he was TRYING to push me down the stairs, if that matters... please dont go doing anything stupid, TJ, please?" She asked, giving those big, adorable, 'Puss-In-Boots' eyes.
"I can't just let them think that they can get away with harrassing you. It REALLY has to stop," TJ explained. She wasn't about to let it go that easily, was she? She brushed her hands soothingly through Jodi's hair. "Does it hurt?"
"A little... but not as much as what they were saying." Hoooo boy. Jodi!Ramble about to commence... "I mean, I know I'm stupid to think you're gonna just go and change everything about yourself for a 13 year old kid, but I can't help but make myself think it because it's the only thing that really makes me HAPPY and when I'm with you I feel all warm and fuzzy and like someone who MATTERS!"
"You don't need to BE with me to be someone who matters," TJ replied, her voice soothing now. "You already DO matter."
"Don't you get it, TJ? I know I'm young, and people think I don't know what I want..." Her voice trembled cutely there, as she shook her head, "But other than my new job... the only thing I want in this world is sitting right here next to me."
TJ smiled softly and leaned over to brush her lips against against Jodi's, showing a surprising amount of tenderness. Something occurred to her then... "Is your new job the reason that Sin Stone said that half of her friends were grumpy with you?"
"Yeah... it's a long story." She shook her head, not sure HOW to explain any of that to TJ. "Dont you get it, TJ? You're still having fun, being free and everything... and I'm falling totally and stupidly in love with you."
TJ blushed, amazingly, and ducked her head, looking down at her thighs. "I... uh, I don't know about love but... I haven't been with anyone else. That means something, doesn't it?" God help her, she was TRYING.
"And! AND!" Oh man, Jodi was just rollin' now, wasn't she? "You love to tease me! You know you aren't gonna have sex with me anytime soon, and you keep wearing things like THAT!" She pointed to TJ's outfit. "I'd rather get pushed down MORE stairs than have to see you in that and know I can't have you!"
TJ chuckled huskily, "Well, I just ... figured that if you were in a bad mood, this little outfit would cheer you UP." Uh huh. That was a wonderful logic to have, hm?
"It looks soooooo hot on you..." Jodi whined, looking at her like a fat guy would look at the last slice of pizza. "Wanna take pity on an injured girl and give me what you know I waaaant?"
"Y'know, people keep saying that I'm gonna be a bad influence on YOU, but I STRONGLY suspect it's the other way around," TJ purred.
"I just know what I want. And I believe in not giving up until you get what you want. And while what I want MOST of all is your heart..." She actually gave a hungry little grin there, as at least her troubles seemed to be temporarily forgotten, "For now? I'll totally settle for your body."
"For now?" TJ smiled sweetly, brushing a hand through Jodi's hair again. "That much I'm at least willing to give you."
Jodi leaned in, tilting her head and pressing her lips to TJ's, whimpering cutely, with real desire in her voice.
While TJ was very careful when it came to saying the 'L' word, there was no denying that there was something there when she returned the kiss, moaning softly.
