Date Night Who: Hillary and Patience Where: Avarice When: Thursday Night
Ok. Date night. Deeeeeeep breaths. Hillary had just met the girl who was going to be her slayer, and while a bit older and more... priveledged.... than she was expecting, the girl seemed eager enough to learn more, and at least interested in trying to establish a respectful relationship there. So that was ONE worry off her mind. But now? She was meeting with Patience. Possibly the most wonderfully predatory woman she'd EVER met, a woman that just boggled her mind in every great way.
The watcher had dressed in a black miniskirt, with plenty of cleavage to spare, and black pumps. Hey... give her credit. While incurably dorky, the girl knew she was hot, ok? She tapped her foot nervously while standing at the bar, looking to Kate for what felt like the 80th time. "...are you SURE she'll think I look great? I really went all out here..."
"You look *stunning*," Kate assured her with a roll of the eyes, figuring that had to have been the dozenth time that she'd said that in the course of the fifteen minutes that Hillary had been there. "If I didn't have any morals, I'd poach you from her and take you on a date myself." She laughed, although she wasn't kidding.
Alrighty... now THAT? Was an acceptable reaction. Hillary blushed lightly, a grin threatening to burst her face wide open. SOMEONE was in a great mood, hm? "I am SO happy to see you. Great day today, and now? Time to have a great NIGHT."
"Sounds like a plan to me," Patience purred, before looking to Kate and winking: "You know what I like." The blonde moved off to fix a drink for Patience, leaving her time alone with Hillary. "Great day? Do tell."
"I got to meet my Slayer. I think it actually could work out really well." She smiled, happily, almost bouncing a little. "And now I'm here, and you look GREAT, and I'm babbling but I don't really caaaare..."
"It's a cute babble," Patience assurred her just as Kate set her drink down on the table. "So, are you allowed to divulge details, or am I allowed to take a wild stab at what the girl looks like?" She smirked.
"You actually think you know?" She blinked, raising an eyebrow. "Orrrr did someone tell you already?"
"No, I don't know. I just figured it would be a fun guessing game," the redhead smirked, taking a sip of whatever it was that Kate had given her.
"Oh." Hillary blushed, feeling a bit like a doofus right now. "Um... she seems nice. She's 24, I think, so, a bit older than I'd anticipated. And married actually. She said her husband actually OWNS this place."
Patience sighed audibly. "Next time you see her, tell her Patience says hi and that I take back that she's a no talent whore. She's talented." Patience couldn't help it but give Hillary her snarky grin then.
Hillary actually gasped there, not really... getting that there was now a weird kind of mutual snarky respect there. "I... I can't say that to her! I have to be professional!"
Patience rolled her eyes, "Fine. I'll tell her myself the next time that I see her."
"Do... do you two hate each other or something?" Oh no... now she was starting to panic a little. She didn't want her Slayer and her, well, HOPEFUL future girlfriend to hate each other here!
"Not really," Patience waved a hand airily. "There was a mutual animosity for a while, but it's mostly behind us now. I'm sure that she'd rather I did some things differently, but it's not like I don't either."
"Oh... whew. Good." The blonde gave a relieved sigh, and then gave a sweet once-over to the other woman. "So... what have YOU been doing since we last saw one another?"
Patience looked down at the bar then, but remembered that she hadn't really TOLD Hillary about her history... and really, she'd rather not go into it now. "Just work, mostly. I told you. I'm boring."
"Well... I'm sure that you and I can think of some UN-boring things to do..." and then she blushed, horribly. "And oh my GOD I sounded like such a slut there."
"Oh no, darling. A slut would go into graphic detail about what she has planned for the evening. You? Are a tease." Patience grinned, tonguing one of her canine teeth. "Which is more interesting, I think."
"...You have this way of making me almost embarrasingly turned on, you know. I say this ONLY because I think you damn well know it." She said with a blushy smile, looking at the floor.
Patience cupped Hillary's chin and tilted her face up to look at her. "Damn, don't you ever hide that smile, girl. And I *might* have suspected..."
"Am I being a total ho if I ask you to kiss me already? Because seriously... I'm ready to just stammer and babble and fidget all night until you do because anticipation can really make me antsy and I've kind of been thinking about it for DAYS and you know how that goes, right?"
Patience nodded and smiled faintly, "I get it." Again, the thought that she couldn't love after Pat entered her mind, but Iris' words held true. She couldn't live her life out of fear of what *might* be. Still cupping Hillary's chin, she leaned foward and kissed the other woman, putting a little of that heat that she was known for behind the kiss.
Hillary whimpered a little into that kiss, returning it eagerly however. "Wow. Now... that was as great as I'd envisioned." The older woman still couldn't help but feel like the kid here... somehow, Patience just seemed more.... worldly than she did.
Which was just a nice way of saying that Patience was a slut, wasn't it? Which was okay in her mind, because that's exactly what she thought she was. "Well, it'd be terrible if I disappointed you, huh?"
"It kinda would. Good thing you didn't, hm?" The blonde blushed then, clasping her hands behind her back. "Although... it might help if you got more practice in throughout the evening..."
"Practice," Patience repeated with that smirk that she was well known for. "Is that your way of saying that you'd like more kisses?"
"Yeah. It's my kind of obnoxiously bashful way of saying it." She looked at the floor, kind of embarrassed. "Sorry I'm being so... I dunno... goofy?"
"No, not goofy," Patience replied, gently taking a lock of Hillary's hair and smoothing it down. "I actually think that it's very sweet," she assurred her.
"In a good way? Not in a mocking, 'oh-my-god-you're-like-something-out-of-a-cheesy-movie' way?" Oh, Hillary... shuddup.
Patience laughed, that sound surprisingly musical given her... predatory nature. "In a good way," she purred, kissing Hillary again.
"...have I mentioned I'm having a terrible dry spell?" The watcher laughed, a bit embarrassed. "I'm not usually this... forward, you know?" She asked, as if trying to make some excuse. "I'm just in a drought of sorts, and you're standing there looking just... DELECTABLE... and... hrrmph."
"...Would you like to change that, then?" Patience? Wasn't one for beating around the bush, huh. "I promise that I'll take care of you."
"Wow. You... move faster than a Brifrill Speed Demon." Then catching herself slipping back into 'work-mode', she blushed and sighed. "Um... only in the condition that you don't judge me based on this? I don't wanna be some... one-night thing, you know?"
"When I want something... I generally have a one-track mind," Patience admitted. Well, at least she knew her strengths and weaknesses, hrmh? "But okay. No judging."
"Fine, fine..." Hillary giggled, an eyeroll admitting defeat as she gave in to her own wants. "God, I feel like such a slut."
"Oh, honey," Patience murmured, leaning over to take one of Hillary's hands. "I could tell you stories that would make you look like a NUN by comparison."
Yep. BLUSH. Hillary once more felt like the young schoolgirl compared to Patience. "No, no... no stories needed. But being a watcher and all... I *do* like the concept of learning..."
"Hrmh. Then maybe I'll just show you a few things... it works SO much better when you've got a visual, y'know?" Ooooh, Patience, you evil wench.
"Aaaaaand this is the part where I try to find some sexy, seductive way to tell you take me home. So... think of something. Something cool. Then imagine I said it." Hillary grinned, the big goober.
"Actually, that right there is perfect." Patience smiled genuinely and, still holding Hillary's hand, she led the other woman out of the club.
