After School Special
Who: Jodi and TJ
Where: TJ's house
When: Wednesday Afternoon
So far? Things were going well for the suddenly-dating Jodi Hanson. She and TJ had been 'dating' for a few days, and granted, it hadn't been more than a lot of chatting on the phone, hanging out at school, and one little coffee date at The Sugar Shack, but hey... it'd only been a few days, so no big, right? RIGHT. Obviously you don't know the determination of young Jodi. She'd finished her homework today ASAP, and headed directly over to TJ's house, hoping to get some actual private time with the other girl. After grinning and totally charming TJ's mother, the girl was in the house, and charging up the stairs. Once outside one of the closed door, she knocked on it. LOUDLY. "Police! Open up! We got ya surrounded!"
"Not again!" TJ called back with a husky laugh. "C'mon in! I'm decent." While Jodi had all of her homework done, TJ had set her book bag by her bed as soon as she got home and was currently working on a painting, dressed in paint-splattered overalls, the attached front patch hanging loosely around her waist and a plain white tee, her wild hair clipped back off her shoulders.
"....aaaaand I'm suddenly forgetting any witty remark I might have had." Jodi mumbled, as she walked in, just STARING at TJ. "Why do you have to be so gorgeous? It's really, REALLY distracting."
"Sorry kid. I can't help that," TJ replied with that same husky-yet-sweet chuckle as she nodded subtly to Jodi. "Shut the door. Please."
Jodi walked the rest of the way in, shutting the door obediently. She wore a little red plaid schoolgirl skirt with knee-high combat boots, and a tight t-shirt with a Decepticon's emblem on the chest, her glasses on the tip of her nose as she just... couldn't help checking the girl out. "So... dumb question, but... whatcha doin'?"
"Painting," TJ replied, taking the brush she'd been using and bopping Jodi on the nose with it. "I had this dream about... I dunno. The future, I guess. If it was, y'know, steampunk and majorly lacking color. I figured I'd paint it while I still remember it so vividly... and am *I* the single dullest person that you've ever met or what?"
"Actually? I was just thinking how hot it is that you're all... creative and stuff." Jodi huffed cutely at the little nose-bop, but just sat down next to her, thinking for a minute. "I bet it'd be kinda cool if you like... painted on ME sometime. Like... ok, I admit. It sounded hot in my head? Then it kinda went nowhere. I got nothin'. I'm lame."
"No, I know what you mean. We could just get a giant canvas and roll around on it... or I could take photos, since I'm good at that too." Figuring that she was distracted now, she set the paintbrush aside and sweetly dabbed off the little smudge that she'd left on Jodi's nose.
"Photogr..." Yep, clearly her mind went to WONDERFUL places there, as she swooned a little and blushed. "So... I came here because I was hoping we could have a little bit of... you know... girlfriend-time? I mean, if you technically consider me that..."
"Technically, yes..." TJ narrowed her eyes and smiled slyly. "But I really have to wonder what 'girlfriend-time' entails... because you and I might be thinking different things here." Have I mentioned that she's evil?
"Don't worry. I *know* I ain't gettin' The Sex yet. I KNOW." Jodi grumbled, rolling her eyes. "But that doesn't mean no making out at ALL, right? Plus, it entails snuggles. And seriously. Jodi!Snuggles are pretty awesome, I've been told. Ok, mostly by my gramma and mom, but STILL. THEY WOULDN'T LIE, OK?"
TJ laughed. "Ohmygod, you're so fucking cute when you ramble like that. I have half a mind just to make you do it ALL day... but the other half realizes how cruel that would be, so yes. Making out we can do."
"SCORE!" Jodi called out like she watching a soccer game or something. "I thought about you ALL day in school. Ok, except during third period English. There I was mostly thinking about how to get gum out of my hair."
"Looks like you've got it all out," TJ murmured, as she inspected Jodi's hair briefly. "God, if I could make your life at school any easier, I would."
"Nah, it's ok. One day I'll be rich and they'll be mopping my floor for minimum wage." Jodi said cheerfully.
"That's a WONDERFUL way to look at it," TJ purred, giving Jodi an all-too-brief kiss on the lips.
"Ohhhhhhhmy." Jodi giggled, adorably, at receiving that kiss. "Suddenly any thought of gum is gooooooone."
