Meanwhile, in the Land of The Rising Sun...

Who: Satsu, OT any characters in Japan
Where: Asuhara High School, Tokyo, JP
When: Monday morning

Asuhara High was quite a progressive school, actually. Geared toward the many American teens living in Japan, it was run in a way that combined the traditions of Japanese AND American High Schools. The primary language spoken was English, but it also focused on trying to make sure the American teens learned to speak Japanese, slolwy but surely. A large number of Japanese teens went there as well, to acclimate to the English language in a natural, educational environment to prepare for moving to the country for one of many reasons.

Satsu actually spoke English already, and spoke it just as fluently as she did her native Japanese. Also, she wasn't sure when she'd be goign back to America. She actually transferred to Asuhara High so that she could accompany her girlfriend, Dot Champa. She knew that while Dot was enjoying her exchange-student status in Japan, that she'd be horribly awkward and nervous being alone in a school where, along with not knowing anyone, she would be subjected to many conversations where she had no clue what was being said.

Plus, this place had a dress-code much more akin to that in an American school. HELL. YES. Satsu could go, in Japan, to a school where she didn't have to dress like a castoff from Sailor Moon? Nuff said. So, walking to her locker in the morning, the slim Slayer was dressed in a knee-length black skirt, a Marilyn Manson tee, and a blue bandanna with a Watchmen pin on the side of it.

Time to see if anyone was walking around worth talking to this morning...
