These Boots Were Made For Walkin' Who: Andais & Deacon Where: The house then the Walk of Fame When: Thursday, Dec. 2nd, evening
Reaching Andais' suite, he juggled all the items in his arms and toed open the door. He moved to the bed, setting the sweetened coffee mug on the nightstand next to the slumbering form of Andais along with the plate of the half apple he'd sliced up for her. Deacon leaned over to quickly comb his fingers through her hair and bestowed a kiss on her exposed forehead before straightening and closing the door to the suite. The guard then ducked into her bathroom to wash up.
Andais felt his fingers in her hair and rolled over in the bed, relaxing. back against the pillow. She blinked awake whenever she heard him in the bathroom. She yawned as she rubbed her eyes and sat up, holding the sheet up against her chest. She glanced around and caught the scent of coffee. She looked over at the bedside table and smiled. He had made it just as she liked it. She picked up the mug and wrapped her hands around the mug, the warm cup warming her cool hands. She brought it up to her mouth and sipped the sweet liquid.
Sometime later Deacon reemerged from the bathroom, washed up and ready for another evening of whatever Andais wished to do. A couple feet away from the bed, the guard leapt at it and landed in a heap at the princess' feet. A grin was on his face as he happily greeted the other sidhe, "Good evening!"
She laughed as he landed at the end of her bed, holding her cup of coffee over above the floor, so that it wouldn't spill on the bed. "Good Evening, my love." she said as she sat the coffee down and crawled down the bed to kiss him softly. "thank you for my coffee, and my snack." she said as she rubbed her cheek against his.
Her laughter was music to Deacon's ears and a content sigh escaped his lips when the princess broke the kiss, "Yes, it is indeed a good evening, my dear." The guard tasted just the hint of sweetened coffee on her lips and nuzzled her back. Luckee (12:07:28 AM): She kissed just below his ear before sitting back on her heels. "What would you like to do tonight?" she asked as she stretched, her dark hair falling in a curtain around her slender form.
His fingers curled into her hair and the guard contemplated her question in silence he watched her stretch. A smile curved his lips again as he admired her lithe form and then murmured, "Whatever you desire, my love."
She let her eyes close as she heard him call her his love. A soft smile spread across her lips. "How about we go and walk down the walk of fame? Get out of the house for just a little bit?" she asked as she leaned back down to him, nuzzling his cheek.
Deacon's tricolored eyes brightened at the suggestion, "Yeah!" He replied with enthusiasm, relishing the thought of snapping a few pictures of the stars on the walk and perhaps the people along the way.
Her smiled widened as she saw him brighten up at the suggestion. "Then I will get cleaned up and we can go out. Is it warm outside still or should I wear a sweater... and perhaps some pants." she asked him as she let her fingers toy with his hair gently.
"Probably wouldn't hurt to wear pants." Deacon answered, pressing a kiss to her lips, "You can always bring a sweater with you."
She let her lips move against his as she returned his soft kiss. "Then I will see what I can find." she said as she caressed his cheek softly before she slid off of the bed.
The guard chuckled, moving to sit up just as she slid off the bed. Deacon grabbed her into a hug just before turning her in his arms to press several tiny kisses to her lips. His lips upturned into a grin, "While I surely don't mind and I'm sure you wouldn't either, I can't very well traipse about Los Angeles in just my pants."
She laughed softly as he grabbed her and she turned around in his arms as he moved her. She slid her hands up over his chest softly, her fingers tracing over the definition. "I wouldn't mind if you traipsed about like this all the time... or in even less." She murmured as she brushed her nose against his. "But I think that the human's delicate sensibilities would be damaged."
He laughed at her words, bestowing yet another brief kiss on her lips, "Yes. The Goddess forbid we break the mortals delicate sensibilities." Deacon chuckled and then tickled the faerie princess with the whiskers on his chin before he comically turned her around and gently pushed her toward her closet, "Off with ye!"
She giggled as he tickled her with his whiskers and she scrunched her nose. She moved whenever he pushed her gently to the closet. "I'm going... I'm going." she said with a soft laugh. "You're the one that pulled me back over there a few moments ago." she teased as she walked into the closet to look for something to wear before taking the clothes to the bathroom and braiding her long hair so that she could grab a quick shower to clean up, though she did enjoy the scent of him on her skin. She was only gone about 30 minutes befoer she walked back into the main part of her suite.
Once Andais had disappeared into the bathroom, Deacon slipped away to his own room. He finished off his own coffee and set the empty mug on his nightstand and rummaged around in his closet for something to wear. After some debate he settled on a dark gray graphic tee and casual black blazer along with his dependable and sturdy pair of boots. Soon after, he returned to the princess' suite.
Andais had just got out of the bathroom, simple make up on, her startling eyes played up with a lining of charcoal eyeliner that was almost the same shade of grey that was in the center circle of her eyes. A black top that was a little more flowy, and layered into a V that hit the middle of her thighs. She was in one of the few pairs of jeans that she owned, they were distressed slightly with wear, but hugged her slender curves perfectly. She had added a pair of boots that hit her mid-calf with a three inch heel that gave her short frame a little more height. She wore her mother's black diamond ring on her left ring finger, and let her hair stay in the the loose braid, soft flyaway strands flowing softly next to her cheeks. She pulled on her dark grey peacoat, not wanting to be cold out in the night air. "I am ready whenever you are," she said smiling up at him.
Deacon was fiddling with the blazer as he walked into the suite and when he looked up, the guard paused mid-step. If asked, the fiery sidhe would swear on anything the Goddess owned that whatever Andais wore, Deacon always found her to be beautiful...then again, perhaps his opinion was biased. At any rate, his gaze clearly revealed his thoughts as he turned back to the door and opened it for the princess. A playful bow was given to Andais, "After you, my lady." His arm swept to the opened door comically.
She smiled softly as she saw his approval for her look in his eyes. She walked forward and moved her hand up and cupped his cheek, letting her fingers trail as she walked out of the door. "I don't think that the look in your eyes a few moments ago will ever get old." she said as she walked down the hallway.
Being what he was, Deacon thought nothing of it to stop in the middle of the sidewalk, in a crowd, to return Andais' kiss. He cupped her face, his fingers feeling the hair at the nape of her neck just before his lips descended on hers in a slow kiss. Deacon ignored the catcalls as some of the people passed them called out and touched his forehead to hers when the kiss broke. He chuckled and agreed, "Yes...it will be fun." 1:51 PM desireunmasked: The idea of others having a possible problem with the intimacy between them in the middle of the sidewalk did not even occur to her. She smiled softly as he cupped her face before returning the soft kiss, her lips moving against his as her arms stayed around his waist. She smiled whenever he rested his forehead against hers. A soft laugh escaped her lips as she looked at him. "I love you..." she said softly.
Deacon brushed the tip of his nose against hers, "And I love you, Andais..." He laced his fingers with hers and continued down the sidewalk with the princess. 2:03 PM desireunmasked: She let out the breath that she hadn't really known that she was holding before walking along with him.
After reaching Hollywood Blvd., the two faeries eventually found Alfred Hitchcock's star when Deacon realized he'd fotgotten his camera. He looked a little disappointed, but honestly in the grand scheme of their lives...it really wasn't that big of a deal. Besides, there was always another opportunity next time they, or he, was out here. "Voila!" The guard said, pushing aside his disappointment and spreading his arms over the star to Andais, "Alfred Hitchcock." 2:25 PM desireunmasked: She looked up at him as he looked a little disappointed. She arched a brow as she watched him. "What is that face for?" she asked as she cocked her head to the side. She looked down a the star and smiled. "Yes, it is him... well his name." she said as she looked up at him.
Deacon gave a little sigh at the question and waved his hand, "I, uh...it's nothing." He said, shoving his hands into his pockets and looking down at the star and then laughed at the princess' joke. "Yeah...I guess it's not all that exciting." He chuckled again.
She stepped forward so that she could lift his chin. "Why are you keeping secrets from me?" she asked a soft frown pulling at the corners of her lips. She wasn't as amused by the stars since she was more concerned with his disappointment.
"Andais..." Deacon started to say, his tone clearly indicating that it wasn't a big deal, "It's just a camera. There will be another opportunity." He looped a finger into one of the beltloops of her jeans, pulling her close, "That's not a secret." The guard said softly.
She let him pull her close to him, her eyes not leaving his face. "You just looked so disappointed, Deacon..." she said quietly. "I was worried I had done something."
He shook his head, a small smile curving his lips as his hand lifted to curl around the back of her neck, "You didn't do anything, Andais." Deacon then looked away, thoughtfully, until the small smile widened, "Except maybe be so beautiful that you distracted me from remembering my camera." He chuckled, and then leaned in for a brief kiss.
She smiled as he teased her. She leaned up and returned the soft kiss. She moved her hand and caressed his cheek softly. "We can always get one of those disposable camera things. They do still sell those don't they?" she asked as she smiled. "Or we could come back in a few days. You know I enjoy being out with you."
"Yes, they still sell them..." He moved to wrap an arm around her waist and started to move on with Andais at his side, "And yes...we could come back another day."
She smiled as she slid her arm around his waist and rested her cheek against his chest as they walked. "It is your choice. I am perfectly content." she said as she stuck her other hand in the pocket of her jacket.
He dropped a kiss to her hair, "Let's come back another time." Deacon then grinned as they approached Grauman's Chinese Theater, "Would you look at that," He chuckled, "This place has been here nearly 75 years or so."
She smiled as she looked up at the theater. "Maybe we can go to a movie in there sometime. It seems like it would be fun."
"Definitely!" Deacon replied with his usual gusto, hugging her. Just as they passed street musician, the guard took her hand and playfully twirled the princess.
She laughed softly as she twirled as he spun her, her flyaways floating out from her face as she twirled with little effort. She had always been a good dancer at the court.
The guard laughed with the princess. Deacon moved through a few more dance steps with Andais before pausing long enough to place another kiss on her lips and suggesting quietly, "Let's go home...."
She smiled as they moved together. She smiled as he pulled back from the kiss and looked up at him. "I think that is a good idea, my love." she said softly.
