Finding Somewhere that Julian is More at Home
Who: Brandie and Julian
Where: Eden
When: Tuesday Evening, 11/16
After the oh so lovely disaster that the Halloween dance had turned into, Brandie decided that their next date should take place somewhere else than Avarice. Plus, Eden had a few things that Avarice didn't. For one, it had an atmosphere that she figured Julian would enjoy a little more. Also, it didn't have any of her family members watching her like a freaking hawk in case she might kiss her boyfriend. So, she waited for him to show up, sitting at a table with a clear view of the door so that she could wave him over when he did come inside.
Admittedly, THIS was more Julian's scene than Avarice was. He was able to dress like he preferred, in black slacks, frilly white button-down shirt, and a black suitcoat with red trim over that. His bangs hanging lightly in his dark red eyes, he let the beat of the music go through him as he took a look around for Brandie.
When Brandie saw him come into the club, she gave him a wave and waved him over. "Hey," she said when he made it over, standing up from her chair and giving him a hug. "So, do you like this place so far?" she asked him.
"Oddly, I can barely look at anything IN here enough to really decide..." He said in that low, sad voice, stroking her cheek. He really did completely adore her. "I know its only been a few hours since school... But I missed you already."
"I missed you, too." Aw, young love, isn't it sickeningly sweet? "I thought this place seemed a little more...well, something that you'd like better. Plus, no sneaky dad watching over our shoulders."
"And none of my friends acting all weird around us..." He still wasn't sure what Naomi's issue had been at the dance...
"Yeah, that, too." Brandie had no idea what was going on with Naomi that night. "Maybe someone spiked the punch that night?" It wouldn't be the first time that happened at a dance, after all.
"I'll talk to her. See if maybe something's bothering her." Julian sighed, hoping THAT went well. He tended to keep finding himself a little tongue-tied around Naomi. Come on... Can you BLAME him?
Eh, she might, but what could you do? "Sounds like a plan," she said to him with a slight smile. At least that would hopefully take care of it, huh?
"Enough about that. How's my girl tonight? That's ALL I care about right now." He looked at her with pure, heartbreaking adoration.
Her smile got wider. "I'm doing pretty good, actually," she told him. "Glad to be in a place where we're not being watched like hawks, definitely." So much definitely.
"I know your parents are protective, plus you got the gothy tattooed girl that watches you... But my dad's out of town all weekend. Would you, um..." He blushed there. Dear GOD did he blush. "Wanna sleep over tonight? Like... do what we keep skirting around?"
She actually did some serious blushing when he brought that up of her own. The two of them had been kind of skirting around, although it wasn't from their lack of WANT. "Um...sure. I'd like that."
If he could have? Julian would have flipped backwards from happiness. Hey. He was a gentleman, yes... But he was still enough of a hormonal guy that having a hot, almost TOO young girl wanting to have sex with him made him want to whoop for joy. "Should we... I mean, wanna... go now?"
She nibbled on her bottom lip. "If you want to, we can," she said to him with a slight smile. Plus, she'd totally be fifteen soon!
