Fun Night
Who: Lucy and Ash
Where: Eden
When: Friday Night, 11/12
Lucy had arranged to meet Ash after a Van Warren practice at Eden, and, feeling great after a good rehearsal, walked inside of the club wearing ; a black top and denim shorts that she had worn to practice. When she spotted Ash, she gave him a wave and headed over to his table, sitting down next to him instead of across from him and giving him a kiss on the cheek. "So, how's my favorite warlock doing tonight?" she asked.
"...holy SHIT." Ash found himself blurting out, as he took a look at how she looked. Seriously.... what seventeen year old looked this fucking good??? "Jesus, Luce... you look amazing."
She smiled at him. "Just...kind of dressing how I feel lately, I guess," she said with a shrug. Plus, didn't THIS look more like a future rock star than Chanel? Honestly? "And thanks."
"Well, however you're feeling... I think I love it. You look sexier than ever." He said with a mischievous grin, taking her hand and kissing it.
She grinned at him. "Well, I feel sexier than ever, and I *think* that has something to do with you," she said to him playfully, leaning forward and nuzzling into his neck.
"So..." He started, trying not to just melt right there, "Do I even wanna know how much caffeine you've had today?"
She giggled. "A good bit," she admitted. "Chloe had like, three pots brewing when I got there, and after we finished it off, we had to brew three more." Everyone knew that the Van Warrens kept coffee pots in like, every single room.
"....Jesus CHRIST." He blinked, eyes going wide. "You and Chloe are the most insane women I have EVER met, Lucy. I mean that. How... how can that little body contain SO MUCH sugar???"
She giggled. "I think Van Warren girls are built to handle pure sugar and caffeine like most normal mortals handle oxygen," she said playfully to him. Even Kevin's daughter from the future was a caffeine fiend. It was in their blood, obviously.
"No wonder you're both so hyper, seriously." He laughed, loving the bubbly, constantly-chipper sound of her voice. "And I swear I'm gonna hit someone if I see one more guy staring at you like a rabid animal..."
She snorted when he said that. "Then I suggest you blind all the males in the club now," she pointed out to him. Hey, it wasn't like the Van Warren family MADE ugly babies. Look at all of them. Seriously. She leaned forward and kissed him again. "Don't worry about them."
"Do you really want to give me idea?" He asked, raising one eyebrow. Sure, he didn't have his magic right now... but was Ash really above PHYSICALLY blinding people? Seriously?
"Hmm...probably not," she murmured into his ear, still nuzzling against him. She knew he wasn't above physically blinding people, or just getting pissed enough that his powers would come back.
"Oh. And PLEASE do me a favor and tell your brother to quit distracting Buffy so much? I need to get her focused on her training, and she's been just... all giggly and sarcastic lately." He rolled his eyes, secretly just glad to see his slayer truly happy.
Lucy snorted. "You say that like its a bad thing," she pointed out. "You know you like seeing Buffy all happy and giggly." Besides, after the whole 'horsemen trying to bring the world to an end' thing, Buffy DEFINITELY deserved a little time off to goof about.
"I do. She deserves it, especially after all she's been through." He admitted, trying his best to take his job seriously. "I just don't wanna see her lose her edge."
"I doubt that will ever happen," Lucy said to him simply. "I'm sure that she'll be just fine and plenty ready to go when the NEXT evil thing comes along and tries to kill us all."
"She really IS becoming quite the slayer..." Ash said proudly (aww!), practically beaming. "Everyone counted her out from the beginning, but she's proven them all wrong."
"Well...GOOD," Lucy said with a grin. "You're the one who helped her believe in herself and made her awesome," she pointed out to him. "You guys like...helped each other and stuff."
"Plus... she didn't snap and murder either of us when we got back together, so... kudos there, too." He said with a snarky little grin.
"No, she turned around and started dating my brother," Lucy pointed out in a slightly sing song voice. "So...I think she got her revenge on a little as well, you know? Of course, they were besties before and totally love each other, so maybe not quite so 'revenge,' but you know what I mean!"
"Strangely... I've been with you long enough now that I think I *do* understand what you're saying." He said that with a little hint of amazement, actually.
She grinned and hugged him. "And that's why you're perfect for me. Because you totally understand what I mean when I go on a patented 'Van Warren' babble."
"You know, I never get tired of hearing you say I'm perfect for you." He sighed, just taking a moment to stroke her cheek.
She snuggled into him a little. "I never get tired of saying it," she said, leaning up slightly so that she could place a quick kiss on his nose.
