Who: Andais & Mere
Where: Eden & then Andais & Roz’s home.
When: Nov. 6th, Evening
Andais had demanded to get to go out that night. She had gotten dressed in her usual fashion for outside of the sithen amongst the humans. She had on a black corseted dress that the skirt hit barely to her mid thigh. The lacings were blood red, so red that they were nearly black. Three inch strappy black heels gave her petite form a little lift as they wrapped up around her legs to just below her knees. Her hair was pulled back out of her face, falling in soft curls of black that was so black that it seemed almost as if someone had spun the darkness of night to make her hair. Her pale skin stood out amongst the majority of the sunkissed Californians and even against the more gothic set that she spent most of her time amongst. She walked into the club, one of her personal guards in tow, the other was close by as well... just in case. He gave her her space, but kept the Princess in sight. He knew that if anything happened to her, that he'd be held responsible. Andais walked through the crowd out to the dance floor and moved to the beat of the music, loving that she was out amongst the humans again. She enjoyed Human companionship, as well as that of other supernatural beings. She was not nearly as picky as her Seelie cousins. The night court was known to accept all kinds, and she was in line to take its throne. The next to take its thrown actually. Her tri-colored eyes, going from black to grey to silver seemed to twinkle with delight as she danced to the music out on the floor.
Mere, in an effort to at least fit in somewhat at Eden, decided to go with a 'gothic' look tonight. Hey, any excuse to shop, right? She ended up picking out a black dress with safety pins on the side that she figured would do nicely. Sure, Mere loved being at Avarice, but every once in a while she wanted a change. So, she had come to Eden to watch the cute goth kids dance around and maybe take one home. Gotta live life to the fullest. She couldn't help but notice the gorgeous woman slowly grooving on the dance floor. Mere herself wasn't as pale as she used to be. She had missed the sun during her time as a vampire (long story, don't ask), and, now that she was human again, had made up for some lost time. Still, she wasn't as dark as some of her Californian counterparts simply because she lived a nocturnal life. Mere slid off the bar stool that she had been sitting on and walked out to the dance floor, taking her time and enjoying the music, dancing slowly to the beat.
Andais was oblivious to anything but the feeling that she was experiencing. She moved to the beat of the music. She loved the gothic lifestyle because it fit more with what she was used to living in the sithen. Though, on the outside the skirts tended to get shorter. She moved to the slow and steady beat of the music. She moved with the flow of the crowd on the dance floor but even still she stood out, and always would against normal humans. But she didn't mind that much. She enjoyed standing out. Even in the sithen she stood out, with the marks of fae on her body, marking her as the future leader of the Unseelie. The raven on her other arm matched the one on her guard, a link that would be between them as he was her guard and had been since her birth. She closed her eyes as she swayed to the music, her hips moving in ways that were more fluid than most human beings could manage.
Mere was quickly getting oblivious to anything but Andais. Even though, at least with her eyes shut, she looked perfectly human, Mere had almost developed a sixth sense as for sensing supernatural creatures, and she had the feeling that Andais wasn't exactly human. Sadly, that was just kind of pulling Mere to her more, if for nothing else than general curiosity. As she danced to the music, she inched her way closer to Andais, eventually ending up dancing next to her.
She opened her eyes as she felt someone get closer to her. She was very aware of her surroundings. She was very lucid at this point. Something that her guards were probably very happy about. She looked over at Mere, and let her eyes slide over the woman. She liked what she saw. She gave the woman a look that wasn't pure of intentions. It was far more lustful. She looked at her and the corner of her mouth quirked up into a smile.
That was a look that Mere could easily read. Hell, it was probably the same look she was sporting on her face. Girl was hot, OK? Mere gave the other woman a grin and took the forward approach in getting a little closer to her, now dancing with her instead of dancing near her.
Andais moved with the woman, dancing with her. As a member of the Sidhe, she was very open to sex. She moved near him. She looked at her with her tri-colored eyes and cocked her head to the side as she put her hands on Mere's hips, moving closer to her. She could be just as forward as the other woman was.
Mere noticed the eyes now, but, if they bothered or worried her, she didn't show it. However, she didn't just automatically assume that they were contacts, either. When Andais placed her hands on Mere's hips, Mere did the same, placing her own hands on Andais's hips as the two of them danced together. Mere liked it when others were forward like she was.
She moved with her, dancing with her. She let her hips move against hers. She moved one of her hands up and rested it over the other woman's shoulder. She rolled her hips as she leaned in towards her. She looked at her and smiled, watching her. "Let's go and get a drink, Pretty..." she said as she moved her hand to take the other woman's.
Mere nodded when the woman suggested that the go and have a drink. She let the other woman take her hand and lead her back toward the bar. Once she sat down, she actually ordered herself a martini (more vodka than tonic, thanks). "I'm Meredith, by the way," she said to the other woman.
She walked with her over to the bar and slid up onto one of the stools, smoothing her skirt over her lap before crossing her legs. She ordered herself a glass of red wine. She sipped her wine and looked over at her. "You may call me Andais," she said as she nodded her head.
"Lovely name," Mere said to her. "So, Andais, are you an LA native or are you from out of town?" Honestly, Mere got the feeling that this girl was from WAY away from LA.
She couldn't help but laugh at the question, her eyes seeming to twinkle all on their own like the night sky. "No, I am not a LA native... I'm from one of the Islands near Ireland," she said before she sipped her wine.
When she laughed, Mere just smiled. "I figured you weren't a native. LA doesn't produce ones like you." And she meant that in the best way possible. She was almost too unique feeling to be from LA. "So, what brings you to LA, then? Work...or fun?"
"Fun... I am enjoying a bit of freedom before I have to knuckle down in a few years," she said shrugging before glancing around. "I tend to find someplace different each time that I go out." she said as she sipped her wine. "Are you from around here?" she asked as she cocked her head to the side.
"I live here, yeah," Mere said with a nod, taking a sip of her own drink. "I'm actually from a small town called Sunnydale about an hour from here, but I moved to LA with my band." Which now had a album that was number three in the country, thank you.
She nodded her head. "Oh you play music." she said with a nod. She was old enough of a fae that she did not tend to ask a lot of questions. But whenever she was out amongst humans she did not mind terribly answering them, because she knew that humans tended to be inquisitive. But if she had been less lucid, asking a lot of questions may have earned consequences. But luckily she was very lucid.
"Yeah, I play guitar in a band," Mere said simply. Probably luckily for her, she wasn't exactly the bragging type, at least when it came to music. She'd much rather SHOW that she was good than just talking about it too much. "Can I just mention that you're gorgeous, by the way?" Subtlety, your name is Meredith Delany.
She nodded her head. "I have no real musical talent. But it is not something that I really need to worry about. My path was chosen not too long after I was born," she said as she sipped her wine. She had been 75 years old, still a child in the eyes of her people whenever she had been chosen by the sithen to follow her father's footsteps to the crown of her people. She looked at her. "I think that you are very beautiful as well," she responded to the woman's compliment. She leaned over and placed a kiss against her lips. It was her own way of thanking her for her compliment.
"As long as you like your path, that's what really matters," Mere said. It almost felt like Mere's path had been chosen for her. She really had few talents outside of music that were...well, legal. If she weren't a musician, she may very well be a hooker or at least stripper. Nothing wrong with either of those, in her opinion, but she had few talents outside of sex, looking good, and music. Then again, if she hadn't been so into music, she may have tried for better grades. Who knows? Mere returned to kiss, pressing her lips back against the other woman's. "Thanks," she said back for the compliment.
"I would be stupid to not like the path that was chosen for me," she said simply. How many people could say that they were going to be a ruler, a true Queen of their people? Not a whole lot. She let her fingers trail up into Mere's hair as she kissed her back. She had always been a lover of women. She loved both men and women, though women were always more beautiful than men in her mind. Even amongst the fae. She pulled back and looked at the woman for a moment whenever she thanked her. "In my world... thank you is not something we say... it can offend people who are older than I."
"Then I'll assume that your path will lead you to great things," Mere said to her. No one would say that about their lives unless it was going to be something great, right? She nodded when the woman pointed out about the 'thanking' part. "I'll keep that in mind then," she said simply with a slight smile. "I apologize. Meant no offense."
She shrugged softly. "You do not have to apologize to me for it. You have probably not dealt with my kind before... and it is not something that a lot of people outside are aware of. We try to make allowances for humans," she said as she looked at her. She twirled her finger in her hair as she watched it. "I don't get to spend as much time amongst your kind as I used to." she said as she leaned back from her and took another drink of her wine.
"That's too bad then," Mere said to her. "I know I'd like to spend more time with you." OK, Mere *might* have a slightly one track mind, but the woman was also fascinating to her. She couldn't help it. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as she took another sip of her drink.
Andais shrugged. In her world ' not much time' was probably a lot different than in Mere's world. Anywhere from a few years up to ten was not much time for her. The corner of her mouth quirked up whenever the woman told her that she'd like to spend more time with her. "Then you will get your chance," she said as she watched her. "You may return with me to my home here if you'd like..."
Mere's smile broke into a full grin when Andais said the last part. "I'd love that, actually," she said, finishing off her drink.
Andais nodded her head and waved her guard over, having him to pay for both of their drinks as she slid off of the stool. "Just ignore him... he and the other are a requirement." she said shrugging as she held out her hand to Mere.
Mere nodded, giving her hand to Andais and standing up off the stool, smoothing out her skirt underneath her.
Andais laced their fingers together and lead her through the crowd. Her guards moved almost as if part of the shadows themselves. The first that Mere had seen fell into step behind them, the other walked a few yards in front of them. She did not live far from the club, thankfully, because she didn't enjoy being in cars if she didn't have to be. She glanced to the other woman and a coy smile spread across her lips. "I hope that you will enjoy yourself at my home." she said with a soft nod. "It is not far."
Mere gave Andais's hand a light squeeze as they walked through the crowd together. After they got into the car, Mere could sense that the woman had at least a dislike for cars, and she gave her hand another squeeze. "Glad to hear that it's not far," Mere said to her. "I'm sure that I'll love it there."
She gave her hand a soft squeeze back. Whenever her guard stopped the car in the driveway of the lavish house, she slid out, with the woman. "Home sweet home..." she said as she smiled. She walked to the front door as the guard opened the door for them. She lifted Mere's hand up and kissed her knuckles softly. The floors of the entry way were marble and a large navigational star was in the middle of the large entry. The house was everything that a faerie princess really could ask for. She dismissed the two guards since she was home, though they would stay close even without her permission just in case for the sake of her human companion. She lead her to her suite, opening the door. It was lavish, black marble floors that were flecked with silver veins and lavishly wallpapered walls that were black and blood red encompassed the large open floor planned suite. On a dais, her black four poster bed sat. Blood red curtains fell down around the outside edges, framing the bed, open on the side closest to them. The bedding on the bed was white, and the pillows blood red. The bulk of the furniture was black, with either red or white fabrics. There was a sitting area with a sofa and two high back chairs. Book cases filled with books and sculptures of gargoyles. A large black crystal chandelier hung in the middle of the room. Through an archway was a bathroom with a large sunk in tub and a shower big enough for at least five people. Her closet and dressing area was on the opposite side of the room, through another archway. "Make yourself at home," she said as she released Mere's hand. She hoped that she liked her little piece of faerie brought to the real world. All the furniture was antique and she had collected over her lifetime.
This was like the type of place that Mere *hoped* that she would be able to buy for herself someday. She tried not to gawk too badly, but she was sure that this woman, when she had people visit, probably had more than one person look around stupidly at her place as well. Still, this woman had a gorgeous place, and Mere was pretty sure that she knew it. "You have a very lovely home," Mere said to her. She was almost afraid to touch anything here. Almost as if she would mess something up or break something. When Andais said for Mere to make herself at home, she sat down on the sofa in the sitting area. She smoothed out the bottom of her dress while she waited to see just what Andais would be doing next.
Andais pulled a few pins out of her hair removing the small hat and placing them on a table near her dressing area. Soft curls fell down from how her hair had been held hitting just above her ass. If she hadn't been amongst the humans and still in faerie, her hair would have fell even longer, a curtain down around her body, but being out amongst the humans had prompted her to cut her hair in what some of the fae had thought was a crazy move. She walked back over to Mere, where she sat on the couch and put a knee on the couch next to Mere, her hand moving up to trail into the other woman's hair, giving her head a soft tug back so that she could kiss down over her neck.
