Oh For the Love of God...
Who: Mere and Julian
Where: Avarice
When: Saturday Night, 10/18
Julian felt a LITTLE strange, hanging out by himself at Avarice. He knew Brandie was going to be there eventually, but for now? He felt a little silly. He wasn't a typical teen, that liked just going out and having fun... so to him? This was awkward. He sat at the bar, 'Under 21' bracelet firmly in place, dressed in a drab gray suit with slight white ruffles along the chest, eyes their 'normal' light red.
Even though she was technically under twenty one, no one made Mere wear the 'under 21' bracelet. Former vampires tend to get those privileges, you know. Sipping at some fruity alcoholic concoction herself, she sat at the bar while wearing a very low cut red dress and was actually waiting on Brayden to show his ass up already. She gave a brief smile to the kid sitting near her while looking around for him.
Normally, Julian would be more discreet when looking at someone, but come ON. Dress like that? He was lucky his head didn't explode. When she caught him looking and smiled, he blushed a little. Of course, pale as he was? It looked like a HUGE blush.
It wasn't like she wasn't expecting people to look at her when she dressed, well, like she dressed, hell, she kind of courted it. When they blushed, though, she couldn't help but pounce a little bit. "Waiting on someone?" she asked, taking a sip from her drink.
He gave a little nod, almost beyond words at this point. She was so sexy, and so... almost predatory... "Y-Yeah.... I... I am... and you?"
Yeah...couldn't help with the predatory-ness, either. "The same," she said with a slight nod, giving a slight glance toward the door again. "Waiting on my boyfriend...who is delightfully late. Then again, he probably only woke up an hour ago."
"Yeah... I'm... I'm waiting for my girlfriend." Ok, so the dork still got a warm little feeling from saying that word. Shut up. "Aren't you Meredith Delany?" He asked, finally realizing how he knew her.
She smiled an arched an eyebrow at him. "I am," she said. "Have we met?" He was a little young for her tastes, so she was assuming he was a fan of the band.
"No... I'm just a fan of Suicide Messiah. I saw you play right after my father and I moved here... you girls are amazing." He said with a shy smile.
Her smile got a little less 'sexually devouring' and more appreciative. "Thanks," she said to him. "How long has your family been in LA?"
"It's just... me and my father. We moved here about a month ago. But my first night here I came here just to relax and ended up getting to see you in concert." He explained with a smile. "Actually, I'm gonna guess you know my girlfriend fairly well..." Oh no... with Mere's wicked streak? This knowledge could only end in hilarious advice and blushy moments. "Brandie Bale?"
More like evil advice and moments of probably eventually getting him killed by Ben with the advice she would lend. Oh this was going to be RICH. "I do know her a little bit," she said. "I've actually been giving her guitar lessons."
"She's just..." Oh no. Julian. Shut up now, before you regret it... "She's the most amazing person I've ever met. She's so delicate, and beautiful, and innocent..."
Which, in Mere's mind, meant that he masturbated to her constantly. It probably meant that he hadn't gotten any ass, yet, though. "She sounds great," Mere said. "How many dates have you guys been on?"
"Well, we hang out all the time, but... I guess three or four official 'dates'..." He said with a slight blush. Which was probably the WORST thing that could have happened for him.
Mere smiled, although the smile probably came off as more devious than intended. Really, she couldn't help it. It was her nature. "Considering how much I've heard her talk about you, I figured that it was more than that."
"She talks about me a lot?" He asked, brightening quite a bit. He knew she was fond of him, but to hear that? Felt GREAT.
"Oh yeah," Mere said, taking another sip of her drink before spinning around in her stool and crossing her legs so that she wouldn't flash him her underwear in the process. Well, too MUCH underwear, anyway. "How great you are...how sweet and caring you are...all sorts of fun stuff."
"...fun stuff?" He blanched a little, hearing that tone, wondering if she'd blurted something out about having made out with him. "Like... like what?"
Actually, that hadn't been what she meant at all. 'Fun stuff' was basically Mere's version of saying 'etc.' Anyways...she arched an eyebrow at him. "I don't know, chief. What sort of 'fun stuff' have you been up to?"
"Nothing!" He said too quickly and with WAY too much guilt in his voice. "N-Nothing at all! Just... you know... hanging out. Watching movies. And stuff."
Mere tilted her head at him. "I don't think you would be sounding so guilty if it were nothing," she teased lightly. "Besides, this is ME. What am I going to do? Blab to her parents? No freaking way."
"Oh god..." He groaned, having a feeling she wasn't gonna let this go. "We just... made out a little. I swear it wasn't anything major..."
"You naughty little boy!" Mere rolled her eyes. "Like I'd slap you on the wrist for that, anyway. Come on. I figure if you love someone, it's fine to be intimate with them." Not that you NEEDED that, according to her, but that was for a different situation.
"I really do. Love her, I mean." He smiled, looking far sweeter than the power that lay within him. "She gives me something I never had before: a reason to look forward to each coming day."
"Then all the more reason," Mere pointed out. "Look...ah...Julian?" That was the name that Brandie used, anyway. Wouldn't it be funny if she had the name wrong? "Having feelings for someone and wanting to act on them is nothing to be ashamed of. Just go for it and don't be completely stupid about it. That means wrap your tool." That slapping sound? Was the sound of Mere's mun facepalming.
"....ohmygod." He muttered, blushing horribly. "She's as inexperienced as me. I don't think I could... do anything like that to her. She's so innocent... I don't think I could find the part of me that has to take that from her."
"If you're wanting to be with her forever, then you're gonna have to sometime. You'll go nuts without." Mere DID have a point. "And she's a Bale. None of them are THAT innocent. Unless she's been running and screaming from you every time you kiss her, and, from how she gushes about you, I'm thinking she hasn't, then you'll be fine."
"I guess... I just need to find a way to stop seeing her as this little angel. Which right now, I do." Why was he opening up like this? It could NOT end well. "Because seriously, I know she's a little younger than me, but I want her SO badly..."
"Ah...young love...so adorable," Mere said with a smirk. "And, from the looks of things, if you don't do some 'taking' soon, you're gonna explode," she told him. "I highly doubt she'd reject you, stud."
"Maybe... maybe you could talk to her? See how she feels? Maybe... prepare her or something?" Of course, HE meant just prepare her for him to make a move. He had no idea that SHE likely took that as a hint to give Brandie a crash-course in seduction. Dear lord, Skylar would kill the woman YET.
Not only had she seduced her sister, now she was going to be teaching seduction tricks to her underage daughter. Yep, Skylar was going to send Mere STRAIGHT to hell. "I'm sure I can do something like that," she said playfully. to him.
"Thanks... I'd really appreciate it. Then maybe I won't feel as... bad making a move." Speaking of the girl, he looked at his watch and sighed. "She's running late... my guess is her dad gave her a hard time about going out with me again. I think he's a little protective."
"Which is amusing, considering how many young girls he's helped defile over the years," Mere mused. And she had helped with a couple, as well, but she wasn't mentioning that. "And never feel bad about making a move on your girlfriend, Julian. That's just...Victorian and weird."
"Th-thanks. I think. For the advice. And just... for giving me someone to talk to." Sadly, the goofball really only had two semi-friends outside of Brandie: Zane and Naomi. And he barely knew them.
So he had spilled his guys to an almost strange rock guitarist? Sounds about right. "Not a problem. My pleasure to give you advice." Plus it was kind of funny.
