Who: Meeghan and Rachelle Where: Club LA When: Monday Evening - October 4
Well. This was one of the harder things Rachelle had ever done. When she woke up from her coma, she'd sworn to herself to make amends with everyone she'd ever had issues with. And the highest one on the list right now? One Meeghan Gregory. For multiple reasons, but right now... one in particular. She'd gotten word that the singer was hanging out tonight at Club LA, and so, after making sure Neely was occupied, Chelle threw on a baggy Steelers jersey and tight jeans, throwing her hair back into a ponytail, and headed to the club, waiting until she saw the other woman walking towards the back. She followed, finally calling out to her. "Hey. Meeghan... I think it's time we talk again. Seriously... let me buy you a drink, ok?"
Meeghan had barely settled herself in at a table in the back with the thought of enjoying a drink as she listened to the new talent the club had hired as a semi replacement for her when she heard someone addressing her. "Free speech is one of the amendments." The ebony haired singer returned with a bit of sarcasm. If Rachelle wanted to talk then far be it from Meeghan to try and stop her. The girl, though, could find herself in a one sided conversation.
Chelle sat down across from her, offering a nervous smile. "So. You and Bastian, huh? I'm happy for you. Just... don't go fucking on Neely's possessions. Blake and Gwen did that already, and I think Neely almost murdered them both."
"What do you want, Rachelle?" She questioned taking a pull from her bottle of beer. It certainly wasn't to warn the singer not to sex her girlfriend on any of Bastian's "mother's" precious possessions as Meeghan, even though she was involved with one Bastian Martin-Bale, made a vow to herself never to step foot into Neely and Rachelle's apartment. So not like that could ever happen.
"Look. I almost died recently. And all of this is making me realize how precious family is. And... while she's from another time, Bastian is still my daughter. And If you mean a lot to her... you mean a lot to ME now. And besides... what I did to you was shitty... but it was ALL on me. Neely never asked me to do that. Neely never did anything but care about you. And I want to fix this. I want us to at least TRY to be friends. And... more than anything..." She swallowed, closing her eyes. "This week is Neely's 21st birthday. And.. as a special gift to her... I want to give her her closest friend back."
"If it weren't for Bastian and her "relationship" to you, I'd be telling you to get the fuck out of my sight right. But I care too much for the girl to be the point of friction for her with any member of her family." Meeghan told Rachelle as she tried hard to keep with her civility toward the other woman. "So If, and that's a big IF, I should choose to make amends with Neely it will be for Bastian's sake and not because it's something you want to try and make peace with yourself for past wrongs."
"You know, Meeghan... I'm not trying to start anything here. But... Jesus... can't we at least TRY to be friends? Yeah. I punched you. I'm SORRY for that. Hell, if it'll make you more willing to start over, I'm willing to let you take a swing at ME. And yes, I'm dead serious. You seem like a nice girl, ok? Neely, Bastian, and Skylar all like you. And... ok, so maybe I realize that I was a royal bitch. Just... think of how much you love Bastian. And if you thought someone was trying to steal her from you. Wouldn't you go a little crazy?" She tried to appeal to the woman's sense of love, of loyalty to Bastian, to make her see what Rachelle had been thinking.
"There's just one little difference between that scenario, which for the record if it happened I'd fight to keep Bastian, and what happened between me, you and Neely. I was never trying to steal her away from you." Meeghan tried clarifying to Rachelle. "I don't think we'll ever be friends, Rachelle. I'll be civil to you for Bastian's sake, but don't delusion yourself into thinking that I'll do something just so you can feel good about correcting a past wrong."
"I can respect that. Just... think about it. Please." She said respectfully before giving Meeghan an apologetic smile and turning to leave.
"Have a good evening." Meeghan said when Rachelle turned to leave. The dark haired singer took another drink of her beer then as she watched the other woman walk away.
