Lucy Starting to Show Just How Bad She Can Be
Who: Ash and Lucy
Where: Avarice
When: Aug. 30th, Evening
This was sort of a perfect kind of night for Ash. Sitting at his favorite table in Avarice, loud, heavy music blaring through the club, and his sexy young girlfriend literally curled up to his side like she was part of his outfit. He was in a getup he had picked more for HER benefit than his, as he personally felt silly in black leather jeans, snug white-t-shirt, and black leather jacket. But Lucy thought it looked hot. So? You guessed it.
You better believe that Lucy basically dressed him tonight. While he may have felt ridiculous, she was definitely all about the leather on her man. "You have no idea how freaking good you look, do you?" she asked him.
"Evidently not... although that redhead by the bar keeps checking me out then giving you a jealous glare. So I'm guessing better than I *think* I look." He snickered, clutching her to his side tighter. "Not like I have to tell you how good YOU look..."
Lucy smirked. "Well, you are all mine, so she doesn't get any," she said, looking over at the bar and seeing the redhead. She was wearing a black mini skirt, tank top, and knee high heeled boots that Mere had gotten her.
"Damn right. ALL yours." He said soothingly, as if still feeling slightly guilty over the Neely thing. Funny since it NEVER EVEN HAPPENED in this reality. "So.. I heard Mere saying Gideon left their band. Right when the album;'s coming out, too. Did Chloe at least have a CUTE aneurysm?"
Lucy giggled. "Yeah, for about five seconds," she said. "Then she remembered a good guitarist that was available and sent Mere off to ask her." Stephanie Whitmore was the new guitarist for Suicide Messiah now.
"Oh, they replaced him already? Funny, considering Skylar's sister probably did the same already..." Oh damn. Would he EVER get over his relative shittiness toward Skylar and Ben, and most of their family? Seriously?
Lucy shook her head. "Hey, Lydia's not that bad. I know you have issue with Skylar, and legitimately, I might add, but it shouldn't go toward people who had nothing to do with it."
"Sorry. I just think that other than Neely, I kind of want to punch that entire family." Hey, at least he could admit it, right? "On the bright side, you don't have to worry about me hexing the whole lot of them anymore..."
"Well, no, and that's good, but just because one person did something to your friend doesn't mean you have to hate the whole family," Lucy told him. "Besides, one of them is dating your best friend, remember?" And she was supposed to be in a band with him as well.
"Yeah. I'm tryin', there. I'm trying SO hard to make myself think something of Brayden. For Mere's sake. But so help me, if he hurts her..." Hey, if it wasn't for Lucy? Ash would likely be MARRIED to Mere by now. Seriously. So excuse him for being protective of her.
Which she knew, and, unlike thinking of him with Neely, she was far more OK with. "Look, as douchebaggy as he can be, I think he really cares about Mere, which obviously is a good thing, right?"
"It is. I want her to be happy. As happy as you make me." He said, letting his fingers intertwine with hers, squeezing her hand sweetly. "I love you, Lucy..."
She gave his hand a squeeze back. "I love you, too." And the fact that Bray and Mere loved each other might be the only thing saving Bray from a possible setting on fire by Ash.
"My sexy little rock goddess..." He laughed, winking at her and hugging her to him tightly again.
She hugged him back as tightly as she could. "So, what else should we do other than cuddle each other in a booth?" she asked him with a slight grin.
"We can do anything you want tonight." He said, TRYING to be the chivalrous boyfriend here and NOT always think smutty. "We can go get something to eat... we can go dancing... we can even go see a movie if you like..."
Lucy smiled. "Well, I'm not sure I want to go anywhere else," she said with a slightly teasing voice. "I think we should just hang right here for a while."
"Is THAT so?" He asked, smiling all while wondering what had caused this... change in Lucy. This seeming hypercharging of her sexuality. Was it the coming-back-from-the-dead thing? The influence of Meredith? All of the above? Either way... Ash? Not complaining.
Probably all the above. Lucy just knew that she had help back a lot when she was alive before, and now, with her second chance, didn't want to do so anymore. "Yeah, that's so. Got any ideas as to what we can do HERE?"
"No... but I strangely suspect YOU have some ideas..." He grinned, his fingertips slowly tracing down her cheekbone.
She grinned. "Oh, I have a couple of ideas," she said sneakily. "It's a matter of deciding just exactly which ones that I want to use."
