She Has A Whole Evening Planned for Them
Who: Hope and Mouse
Where: Chloe's Sugar Shack, then Hope's Car
When: Aug. 22, Early Evening
Hope and Mouse had been going out for a little while now, and today Hope was coming by in order to pick up Mouse from work for a little surprise date that she had planned for her. With that extra money she already had from her trust fund plus her watcher salary, she had plenty of money, and tonight she wanted to spend a fair amount in Mouse, taking her out for a good dinner and then to a hotel room where they could have some real privacy. She walked into Chloe's Sugar Shack, looking around for her girlfriend.
Mouse, meanwhile, was grumbling a little to herself. She had NEVER been so glad to be at the end of a workday, as Chloe was out doing band stuff and had given Mouse her first shot at being manager today.
Of course, since they were a little short of workers today, Mouse was ALSO waiting a few tables... it just meant she got to dress a little more normal today, and was actually wearing a pretty, long black dress with a red blouse.
It had been a LONG day though, and being manager through the lunch rush on a saturday? WOW. Talk about a trial by fire. She grinned when she saw Hope walking in, and almost squealed in happiness as she made a cute little 'check me out' motion with her hands. So sue her, she thought she looked good.
"Lucy?" She called into the back, knowing the young blonde had come in a half hour ago. "Nica's not here yet, but my shift's technically over... would you mind holding down the fort till she gets here?"
Lucy poked her head out of the back, a sucker sticking out off her mouth. "Sure! Get going and have fun!" before coming out fully so that she could watch the store
Hope, meanwhile, was very happy to see Mouse, walking over and giving her a hug. "So, are you ready to get out of here?"
"I have been sinnnnnnce..." She looked at her watch, blushing as she admitted it, "About 7am when I got here. Been waiting to see you ALL day." She said with that little squeak to her voice.
Hope laughed. "Good, because I'm ready to get you out of here," she said. "I have plans for us tonight that have nothing to do with work."
Mouse didn't even have a comeback for that. No... she was far too busy being a swoony little schoolgirl over Hope. She STILL was having a hard time believing the other girl REALLY wanted HER. So, yeah. She was still slightly in 'moon-eyed cuteness' mode around her.
"Ok.. a-anything you want..."
"Great," Hope said, ignoring a smirking Lucy in the distance. "Let's get out of here then." With that, Hope was pulling Mouse toward the door and to her little car.
Once they were in the car... oh gawd... Mouse was actually still adorably nervous being along with Hope, as she still constantly blushed and giggled and thought about that day they spent alone in Hope's dorm... yep, there went the blush again.
"So... w-where are we going, Hope?"
"Well, I wanted to take you out to a good dinner," Hope started, "but I also rented us a hotel room. You know, in case you...wanted to be alone with me again."
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhm'god. Mouse visibly blushed there, her face turning BRIGHT red. "I... um... you... I.... y-yeah. I think I'd l-like that..."
Hope nodded, smiling. "Good. I...I was kind of worried that you wouldn't want to again." And now she was VERY relieved that that worry was unfounded.
"Are you CRAZY?" Mouse said in an actually loud, surprised tone. "Ohmygod... Hope! That... that was kind of the best day of my LIFE." She admitted, blushing again as she looked away, embarrassed.
Hope's smile got wider. "It was mine, too," she said softly. "I guess that it was just...after sex panic or something?" Supposedly this happens a lot.
"Hope... you're so sweet, and nice, and HOLY CRAP beautiful..." Yep. Here it comes. Mouse!ramble... "And I still kinda wake up sometimes and think you wanting to be with me was just a really nice dream I had and then I look over and see that silly picture we took together at the mall and then I smile and sometimes giggle a little." How cute was THAT? She actually had one of those stupid little pictures sitting on her nightstand.
If Hope wasn't driving at the moment, she might have reached over and kissed Mouse just for that. She really had never had anyone feel this way about her before, either. Instead, she just beamed at Mouse. "So, what do you want to eat for dinner?"
"You!" The waitress made herself blurt out with a loud, embarrassed giggle. "I COULDN'T HELP IT!"
Hope just started laughing as well. "While I'd totally LOVE that, that isn't exactly nourishment and calories and stuff you need to survive!"
"True..." She said, laughing and trying hard to stop blushing, "Just... something little? Maybe some soup at Panera or something?" She loved their food, AND she knew Hope wouldn't have to spend a lot.
Hope nodded. "Panera it is," she said, directing the car in the right direction. "You have to eat more than soup, though. We can just bring it back to the hotel if you don't have much of an appetite right now."
"Ok, ok... you're so pushy!" Mouse replied with a teasing giggle, clearly coming out of her shell at least a LITTLE bit around Hope. "Ohmygod. You are seriously SO PRETTY. I just wanna cuddle you like, right NOW."
"Well, might want to save the cuddling until AFTER I stop driving unless you like hitting light poles," Hope said to her. "And you seriously have no idea just how pretty you are."
"I know you think I am... which... makes me feel like I never thought I could." Mouse fidgeted a little, nibbling her lip. "I just keep being afraid that... well, honestly, that you're too good for me."
Hope reached over and squeezed Mouse's knee with her hand. "You're perfect for me," she said as she pulled into the Panera parking lot.
"No... I'm not perfect. At all." Was it possible to die from over-blushing? Mouse felt like she was about to find out. "Any chance you could just kiss me?"
Hope leaned over and did just that, hoping that she could show through physical acts just what she really felt about Mouse, and that she WAS the most attractive woman in the world to her.
"Oh my god..." Mouse kind of trembled a little under the heavy emotion of that kiss, and almost fainted, cutely enough. "You are gonna make me end up falling for you way too fast, Hope. Seriously. And it's gonna be like every other time. I'm gonna get scary-clingy way too fast, and scare you off, and then I'll be alone again..."
Hope shook her head. "I was worried about getting clingy and moving too fast for you when I did things like book a hotel room for us and stuff," she said to Mouse. She moved from kissing her lips to nipping at her neck. "You can't scare me off at this point."
"Long as ya want me, I'm yours." The shy waitress said with a smile. Honestly, she was falling so quickly, ridiculously in love here that it was almost retarded.
