Who: Lena and Ash
Where: Eden
When: Aug. 19th, Friday Night
Lena tapped her nails lightly on the bar as she waited for her drink. She had wanted to come out and enjoy herself at Eden for the night, maybe find something a little more warmer to drink than something from the bar, but no one seemed to be causing any real sort of trouble tonight, so it was the bar that she went to. While the drink was being made up special for her, she spotted a white blond head come through the door and realized it was someone that she had been wanting to talk to for a while: Ashton Kowalski. This night just got interesting.
Ash, while not FEELING like his old self, was at least looking it as he walked into Eden. He wore one of those black suits he loved so much, which contrasted with his deathly pale skin and icy blue eyes. Somehow... he FELT Lena's stare, and somehow, his eyes found hers. Well... certainly a beautiful young woman... but to be staring like THAT? She had to know him somehow. His eyes stayed locked on hers, as he watched her approach.
After telling the bartender to hold her drink for her, she made her way over to Ash. "Hello," she said to him with a slight smile. "We haven't had the chance to meet yet. My name's Lena." She offered her hand to him.
"Ash. And... should we have met?" He asked, taking her hand with a raised eyebrow.
"I think so," she said to him. "Let me buy you a drink and I'll explain why." She gestured to the bar. For someone who looked all of sixteen, this had to be a little strange, unless you caught just how fucking COLD her hand was.
"Goddammit." Ash muttered as he followed her, knowing at that touch what she was. Hey, he'd KNOW this shit by now, ok? "So, at the risk of being eaten... can I just ask that you don't beat around the bush here, and tell me what's going on?" He sighed he pointed to the bottled water behind the bar, which the bartender quickly grabbed for him.
"I have no interest in eating you," Lena said to him as the bartender gave her her drink as well. "I actually don't eat people, anymore. Well, not good ones, anyway." Might as well be specific: she only stuck to murderers, although Ash TECHNICALLY qualified, didn't he? "I actually wanted to thank you for something."
"Thank me." Ash repeated, a little confused. Why would some vampire he'd never met be thanking him? "Are you sure you've got the right person? No offense."
"I hate to bring up something so...horrific from your life, but you got rid of a vampire than never should have existed." She actually was a little sorry to bring it up. She didn't want to hurt him. "Remember the little french whore who killed your girlfriend until your other girlfriend got creative with a wish? That whore was a thorn in my side for over two hundred years that I wasn't allowed to remove because of her benefactor."
"I... you.... I.... she..." Was Ash actually kind of adorable when he stammered? Yeah. But not now. He was almost traumatized. "She... she was dead the minute she touched my Lucy." Oh, if he still had his powers? His eyes would be blacker than Wesley Snipes right now. "What do you mean, her benefactor?" ....was Ash gonna have to cut a bitch? Again?
"My sire brought that abomination into being," Lena said, staring ahead of herself. People didn't really understand just how much Lena had HATED Michele. "If I had known she had been in LA before she had touched Lucy, I would have taken care of her myself. I told her if I ever saw her again, I'd kill her." She sighed. "If I could find Luke now I'd kill him myself, too."
"Luke." Ash said, filing that away for future reference. Oh yes. The vamp that had 'killed' Lucy was dead now... but Ash still wanted to kill any vampire or any PERSON that was even connected to her.
"Lucian Iacobeli, or Luke Jacobs, or whatever the hell he might be calling himself these days," Lena said with a roll of her eyes. "Good luck finding him. I tried every lead and person I know and he may very well be dust in the wind." She took a sip of her drink. "He made her and basically created all of the psychosis in her, doing...well, I'm sure you can imagine. The only reason I didn't kill her then was because I'm fairly certain Luke would have killed me." She sighed. "I should have taken the chance."
"She's gone now." Ash said as diplomatically as possible, although he WAS still trembling a bit in anger. "And take solace in knowing that I made her suffer like few have ever suffered before."
"Good," Lena said flatly. If she didn't have better control of her emotions, she would be shaking right now herself. "I'm glad the bitch suffered. She never should have been created. He made her as an 'experiment.' A Slayer turned into a vampire." She shut her eyes. "If you ever run across Luke, do the same to him."
"She... she was a slayer?" He asked, honestly surprised there. THAT was something he hadn't known. "She... was obsessed with me, for some reason. She made it seem like she went after Lucy just to get my attention." He sneered menacingly there, "And it worked. She most certainly got my attention."
"Michele Odette D'estaing was her name, I believe. She was alive during the 1750s in France, if you ever want to research her. Luke kidnapped her in the dead of night." She took another sip of her drink. "I have no idea what drew her to you. Maybe Luke running off doing who knows what made her go over the edge."
"I have no idea. I just know that before she died..." He sneered, eyes narrowing in a way that made him look rather scary... even WITHOUT his powers. "She screamed more than she likely ever screamed before..."
"Quite possible," Lena said to him. She really had no idea. Luke had made the girl scream plenty, but she wasn't exactly there to listen while Ash 'played' with her.
"So... to go back to your reason for approaching me." He raised a brow, giving a look that had to be chilling, even to a vampire. "I appreciate your thanks. But technically... she killed herself. She was dead the moment she touched my Lucy."
"Then she committed suicide by stupid," Lena said with a slight sigh. "Either way, she's banished from this earth and that's what is important. Something as crazy and unpredictable as that would do the planet no good by continuing to exist."
"And she'll never exist again. Because rest assured... if she ever finds a way back to this earth?" He stood, no longer really in the mood to mingle or hang out. "I will find a way to kill her all... over... again."
