While Isabella had intended for Kayla to come to that conclusion herself, she could appreciate Sin's approach. Especially since she was having trouble breathing on one side. She clasped a hand to her ribs, the only sign of how much agony she was truly in and stared the tattooed Slayer down. For once, she agreed with Sin: "Listen to her, Kayla. I admit to baiting you, but you took that too far. I'm human. I'm breakable. What if Sin hadn't come in? Would you have stopped?"
Ah, the million dollar question.
The one thing that Kayla had been afraid of doing to Deanna... she had done to someone else. Admittedly, Isabella had pushed her to it, but it didn't take much.
"Nutzoid," Kayla repeated with a sneer, looking from one woman to the other as she stood. She scrunched a hand through her short dark hair and shook her head slowly, "You don't know what I'm going through, Stone, so back off. Both of you just... back off."
