Happy Ash Times
Who: Lucy and Ash
Where: Ash's Home
When: Friday, July 23rd, Early Evening
After some practice with her brother and sister, Lucy made her way over to Ash's place. She was very interested in hanging with him today. Some of the future!kids were starting to move out of town, so it was feeling like things were REALLY starting to get back to normal after a long while. That made her super happy. She just wanted things to get as normal as possible now.
When she got there... Ash was already waiting for her, sweetly enough. He was wearing another 'normal' outfit, no black suits or anything, just jeans and a white t-shirt, and had a rose in his hand as he opened the door. "Hey there, gorgeous..."
She smiled brightly at him as soon as she saw him, practically jumping on him and wrapping him up in a hug. "I've missed you SO much!" she squealed, hugging him tightly.
"I missed you too!" He said with a surprised laugh, as she practically wrapped herself around him. She was such a bundle of youthful energy... was it any wonder she kept him so grounded in the light? "You DO realize that pretty much every time you glomp me like this, all it does is make me want you?"
The last thing he said just made her giggle. "Well duh, it's not like it's my charming wit and grace that make you want to maul me every time you see me," she pointed out. Well, OK, maybe those were a factor, too, along with her drop dead gorgeous looks, but who was taking notes on this. Really?
He finally set her down, kissing her sweetly on the lips. The girl was such a mixture of sweet innocence and shockingly wild sexuality... and to think it was HIM who first brought that part out of her. THAT made him smile as well. "How's my favorite sugar-fiend this evening, hmmm?"
"Doing fine," she said to him, shifting from foot to foot after he set her down. She couldn't help it. She was WAY too full of energy today. "Spent most of the day with my siblings working on music, actually, which might explain the double excess of energy I got flowing through me right now. Too much time spent bent over a guitar, glaring at sheets of music because they refuse to sound like they do in my head."
"Huh. You... kinda lost me at the 'bent over' part. Way too many great visuals there, to be honest." He actually blushed there. Yes. ASH. "I won't lie. I'm kind of in a mood tonight. I went to Saints & Sinners earlier, needed to talk to Bale about something..." He felt his cheeks redden again. "Ended up running into... an old friend. And couldn't help watching her dance. And yeah... now I'm all worked up."
"You ran into an old friend?" That was interesting, especially since it had him all worked up and whatever. "OK, you got to tell me who this 'old friend' is now. Is it someone I'd like?"
"Heh. Well... when you were... 'away'...." He STILL couldn't say 'dead', sweetly enough. He loved her THAT much. "I was... drowning myself in anything I could find. Including a succubus that works for Bale now. Don't worry... I didn't touch her tonight. Just watched her for a few minutes." Funny enough... since losing that dark power he had... somehow he and Eve didn't seem to have as much of a pull to each other anymore.
Lucy just smirked. "Yeah, I got to see all of that from up above," she pointed out. "Not all that fun, let me say to you." Still, baring the screaming fit she had over Neely, she actually did trust him quite a bit. "So, what did you need to talk to a Bale for, anyway?"
"Just... needed to set up a meeting between myself and Brayden. For Meredith's sake AND for yours." He knew Lucy wanted to be in Brayden's band... and between that and Meredith loving the lout, it was imperative that he and Brayden start to see eye to eye.
"Ooh! Really?" How interesting, right? "And just how did Mr. Brayden react to this? Did he call you an a-hole or something?" Yes, that is the closest Lucy gets to swearing, by goodness.
"Well... that's why I went to see BEN. Let that jackass be the mediator." Ok, so, after the Skylar fiasco? He'd likely NEVER, EVER like Ben.
Lucy just giggled. Oh yeah, she knew just how much Ash loved Ben. He hadn't liked the werewolf before the whole 'I took your buddy's wife and made her my own' fun stuff happened. "Mediators mediating and all are massive butts. This should end well."
"Smartass." He laughed, tilting his head and leaning in to give her a soft kiss on the throat. "I wanna do this because he's important to Mere. And I know you want to be in his band. So... this needs to happen."
She nodded. "This DOES need to happen, because he also needs to get over his massive hang up about you as well." She paused for a second before saying, "Mere told me about it. Apparently he has some issue with you or something."
Ash just kept his mouth shut... the whole thing with he and Meredith's feelings for each other seemed to just... hurt everyone, so he just didn't say a word about it. "I'll do my best to resolve it. Because after all... my girl needs all the music outlets she can get, right?" e realized then, that really? Even when it was totally innocent, they almost ALWAYS had to be touching each other in some way.
"Well, I'm no Chloe in joining three different bands, but having a side band certainly wouldn't be a bad thing," Lucy said to him. Of all people, Lucy was probably the most OK with his feelings for Mere and vice versa. Heck, SHE had some feelings for Mere, although they may be attached to magic and being brought back from the dead. Who could say?
"You're a hell of a woman, Lucy. And dammit... now you've got me wanting to just drag you off and do things that would make your family want to kill me." He raised an eyebrow at her mischievously, finding it odd yet sweet how into him she really was.
"Yeah well, my family isn't exactly here now, are they?" Lucy pointed out. She was certainly OK with him dragging her off into the other room and doing indecent things to her. It was one of the reasons that she had come over, after all.
