This Is Your Life
Who: Belle (OT anyone)
Where: Avarice
When: Saturday evening, June 5th
Belle had been in town for little over a day and already she couldn't sit still. She wanted to rage, hit things, scream at the top of her lungs. What she decided to do? Was go and get drunk off her ass. She made her way downstairs dressed in skater shoes, blue denim short-shorts and a thin white hoodie. To say that she was noticed would be an understatement, and if she was at her peak? She would have been the life of the party, but coming from a broken world into one where her mother was hurt (Okay, so Rachelle wasn't technically her mother here, but still) was a lot to handle. She smirked when she spotted her aunt at the bar, "Hey there, baby mama. Lay a beer on me."
Patience had spotted Belle as soon as she made her way downstairs and she narrowed her eyes at the blonde, thinking that Neely had gone back to her old ways. "No. How about you explain why the fuck you were up there before I drill this corkscrew into your eye?" She actually flashed the corkscrew and had a look in her eyes that she’d actually do it, pregnant or not. Damn, that girl had spunk.
One of Belle’s eyebrows shot up and not one to mince words, she said: "I'm Neely's daughter from the future, or a future, your niece... and I like my eye, thank you." She suspected Abbi would be floating around somewhere (or she hoped, anyway), so maybe this wouldn't come as such a shock, hm?
"Niece..." Patience repeated, connecting the dots. Sure, she hadn’t met Courtney yet but she'd heard stories about the girl's beauty... and monotone. And frankly? These two girls sounded similar. "What's your name, gorgeous?" Oh how she planned to tease Ash about this!
"Bastian," the blonde replied. "But I'd prefer it if you called me 'Belle'. ... I promise I won't drink more than I can handle." And she could handle a lot, but Patience didn't need to know that now, did she?
Patience digested that for a moment. "Alright, fine. You're a Bale, so it's not like I can refuse you, right? Just stay out of trouble and for the love of God tell me stories later when you're so drunk you have no restraint."
With that, Belle took two beers over to a booth in the corner, figuring if she didn't find company, she at least wouldn't have to get up for a refreshment for a while.
