It's Like a Caudron Boiling Over...
Who: Lucy and Ash
Where: Eden
When: Saturday Night, 5/15
Lucy sat with her boyfriend at his favorite table in Eden while she swayed a little in her seat along with the music. She loved coming here with him. After those first few weeks of basically staying in his home with just him and Mere, it felt great to be getting out more. She looked at him and grinned. "How you feeling tonight?" she asked him.
"With you? How could I be anything but great?" He asked with a wry grin, that voice a hilarious precursor to Courtney's voice and tone. He couldn't help but notice a few people pointing her out... obviously her reputation due to a few of Van Warren's recent gigs was growing. "And you? You seem even more chipper than usual..."
"According to some people, that isn't even possible, me being more chipper," Lucy said with a smirk. "Guess I'm just in a good mood from actually starting to get to play gigs and stuff." She was, actually. She was so loving the fact that she was actually starting to get on stage on occasion again.
"I know I tell you every day, and its probably getting old by now, but..." He placed his hand on hers, gently pulling her to him in a little show of territoriality. Hey, so sue him... he wanted all the guys to know who she belonged to. "I'm so glad you're back. Without you... my life is meaningless." Was Ash sort of obsessed with her? Maybe even to an unhealthy degree? Yeah, probably.
"Well, I'll let you in on a little secret," she said, playfully leaning upward so that she could whisper in his ear. "Hearing that never gets old," she told him, pulling back and giggling. What? It was nice for a girl to feel loved.
"Wellll..." He gave that typically wicked grin and whispered to her, "hopefully you also don't get tired o the things we do when we're at my place..." He almost just said "home" but sadly, he hadn't quite figured out how to talk her family into letting their sixteen year old daughter move in with her nineteen year old boyfriend.
"Oh, I'll never get tired of that," she said back to him, blushing just a tad as she said it. She had convinced Kevin to get on her side about it, but, past that, she didn't have a clue how to get Chloe much less her PARENTS on her side about that. Well, Chloe would also understand the 'he can protect me more than anyone' part, but her parents would most certainly not.
"Good. Because I'm planning on taking you home with me tonight, wearing you out, then returning you in the morning." Oh, was he being snarky now, but still. He just liked teasing her. So hard to believe that this was the same girl who could barely kiss him at first without blushing.
Well, saying stuff like that in public, even if no one else could hear, was still gonna make this girl blush! "Ash!" she squealed, smacking him on the arm.
"Yes?" He asked with a mockingly confused blink, as if he had no CLUE why she'd hit him. "Are you saying you object to these plans?" Hell, he'd been thinking of giving Mere a call too...
"No...," she said to him, still blushing. "It's just that...well, I still find it hard to SAY stuff like that in public," she admitted. Well, sometimes, anyway.
"Well...we could always head out now... Make things much less public..." He whispered again, waggling his cell phone in front of her. "Alone or with... certain company is entirely up to you."
"Maybe getting out of the public eye would be a good idea," she said, smiling a little. "And the last part is up to you." She would be more than happy with either idea.
"You know? For now... I think I want you all to myself. Every..." He kissed her hand, "single..." Then her lips, "inch."
She smiled at him. "Definitely don't mind that," she said to him, kissing him back when he got to her lips.
