A Case of Deja Vu
Who: Clem and David (OT Continuation)
Where: Avarice
When: Evening - Monday, April 12
Clem roared into the lot of Avarice on her Yamaha RT 180. Samson was suppose to be meeting her there, but her boyfriend wouldn't be getting to the club until a little bit later due to having worked late. Claiming a spot near the entrance of the club, Clem slid off the cycle and shook out the mass of thick, red locks after removing her helmet. The teen then made her way toward the Club's entrance.
The Beast, as he was commonly known, stood just inside the doors, watching to make sure nobody started any trouble. He was a true tower of terror, six-foot-ten of muscle, long hair, tattoos, and piercings, standing there with his arms crossed over his barrel chest, clad in a sleeveless Motorhead tee and black jeans with spiked combat boots.
Helmet tucked under an arm, Clem tugged a door open and entered the establishment shoving a hand into the front pocket of her jeans to extract a couple bills to cover a cover charge, that was if the place had a cover charge to pay before you could actually enter the club.
David grinned when he saw her coming, and waved her off. "No charge, kiddo. Just tip the bartenders well." He blinked though, as if having deja vu. The young redhead just... LOOKED like someone he knew, but he couldn't quite place his finger on who.
David might be known as The Beast, and instill fear in most people with a mere look, but Clem had long ago learned not to let hulking giants, such as David Cromwell, with muscles galore and tattoos frighten her into wanting to run in the opposite direction. She did after all have a boyfriend who, though not built as solidly as the bouncer, did have more then his fair share of tats. "Thanks for the tip, Big Guy." Clem said in that southern accent of hers, which put her origins as being someplace other then L.A., and then grinned like a Cheshire Cat at the man before moving to step past the man.
"Heh. No problem, Pup." He replied, giving her a friendly wink. "Anything ya need, you let me know." God... What the HELL was it about her that felt so familiar? It was like she seemed like a double of someone he'd known years earlier.
"Think ya can keep on eye on this well I'm inside enjoying myself?" Clem smiled ever so sweetly to the biker type guy. It would save her from constantly keeping an eye on it, which really wouldn't be any sort of fun because really, how much could someone enjoy themselves in a place like Avarice if they had to worry about someone possibly wandering off with the motorcycle helmet.
