When two newly-single people meet...
Who: Gwen & Irene Where: Eden When: Saturday night
Despite the fact that Kevin often hung out at Eden, Irene wasn't about to let that stop her from hanging out at her favorite club. Not to mention? She'd been going to this place FAR longer than silly old Kevin Van Warren.
Dressed much like she had the night of her tryst with Joel, and let's face it, just as wasted there was one thing that was new. Irene had taken a pair of scissors to her long blond and black dyed locks and chopped it off. She now sported sexy baby cut bangs and her hair now fell just past her chin. The bassist felt like a new woman, a feeling she needed after the past week as she danced like there was no tomorrow.
As was now typical of nights when she suspected Ben and Skylar would be around Avarice, Gwen was 'slumming it' by hanging at Eden. Not that she had anything against the club, but she couldn't stand mopey goth and emo kids, and a lot of times, the music just aggravated her. Plus, she couldn't bully CJ into giving her booze here. So for now, she was merely her sullen sober self, and found herself eyeing up the gorgeous, blonde bassist.
It was not usual for Irene to get wasted twice in two weeks. In fact, the witch was usually quite responsible and respectable to her body but after her one night stand with Joel, Irene felt like a complete, well...skank to use the American term. If she felt like one, she might as well act the part, eh? Which was how she found herself pulling Gwen out onto the dance floor with her and dancing with the other woman.
Gwen couldn't help but laugh when the witch grabbed her. Usually, if someone caught her staring at them, it was one of two reactions: either strike up a converation or tell her to go away. So this?: Was a pleasant surprise. At least she was semi-dressed for the place: a black vinyl micro-mini, with black thigh-high fishnets, clunky Docs with red laces, and a little red takntop with a black skull-and-crossbones design on it. "You look like YOU'RE having fun tonight..."
Irene giggled, crimson painted lips pulled briefly between her teeth as her hands slid along either side of Gwen, pulling her a little closer, "Aw, love, I always have fun at Eden. Lilith is good to all her bands."
"Oh... ok. I thought I recognized you. You're in that band with the screamy GRRL POWER! singer. Does this Lillith believe in giving your underaged friends booze? Cos if so, I now love this place." Not that she wasn't totally loving the dancing, because, frankly? SHE WAS.
Those red painted lips curved into a pout, "Now why would you want to go and leave me out on the dance floor all by me lonesome for the bar?" Irene's arm slipped over Gwen's shoulder, a leg between hers. Moving to the deep, chest rumbling beat of the music, the bassist practically dry humped Gwen.
"Damn, woman... I'm like the easiest person in this club and I'M surprised by the suddenness here!" Gwen laughed with a little snort, slapping the girl on the ass. "Not complaining, mind you... just pointing out a fact."
"Is that so?" Irene's hands had glided down Gwen's body again, resting on the other woman's posterior as she swayed her hips, sinking a little before swaying back up to her full height. The witch looked away teasingly and admitted, "Yes, well, I usually don't do this sort of thing..."
"I think someone says that in like, every issue of Penthouse Letters I've ever read, babe. It allllways leads to something awesome happening." Even sober, Gwen was never at a loss for tactless words. "Me? I always do this sorta thing. Was slutty for years, met someone, was true to her, she cheated on me... now I'm back in SuperSlut mode again."
This made Irene pause, both mentally and physically. That teasing grin she had on her lips disappeared and the witch gulped, glancing to the bar, "How badly do you want that drink, darling?"
"If this tells you anything? I'd do just about anything to get shitfaced right now." Again, Gwen was the queen of blunt. She just said whatever was on her mind. "I just wanna forget, you know?"
Irene was suddenly tired of the noise and just the club in general at the moment. "You know what, love? Let's ditch this place. I have plenty back at my place and it's quiet there."
"Fuck yes. Hot bitches and booze? I'm all bout it." Gwen threw an arm over Irene's shoulders, and whooped it up loudly. "Let's get the hell outta here. Booze is calling."
