Teen Wolf Three?
Who: Angie and Hiroshi
Where: Hiroshi and Satsu's Apartment
When: Tuesday Night
OK, this was just making her angry. Hiroshi had basically been avoiding her as of late, and she wanted to know why. He'd jump off the phone after a few minutes, and wouldn't come out to see her and made excuses as to why she couldn't come over. After snagging the key to the apartment they shared from Satsu, Angie let herself in and walked inside. "Hiroshi?" she called out. "Come out and tell me what's going on!"
After a few moments of silence, she finally heard his voice, shaky, with no real authority to it. "G-Go away, Angie... please... for your own safety..."
"What's going on with you lately?" she asked, instead following Hiroshi's voice. "You barely talk on the phone, you won't come out, and even Satsu says that she can't get you to come out of your room. Either you tell me what's going on or I'm going to get her to kick your ass!"
"I...I'm sick, Angie... and I think I could hurt someone..." he wasn't making sense, he knew that... but how else could he explain this??? Finally, he walked out, looking disheveled, like had barely slept in days. "Something happened, Ang..."
"Oh my god," Angie said, looking him over. "What happened? Are you hurt? What do you mean that you could hurt someone? What are you talking about?"
"It's like those movies we watched, Angie..." the thin boy looked horrified, as if she wouldn't believe him, even after everything they'd seen. "I was bitten... by what I thought was a dog... but now... I'm changing."
She narrowed her eyes at him. "You've been blowing everyone off because you got bit by a dog? Have you even been to the hospital?"
"It wasn't a 'dog', Angie!" He was trying to get through to her. "Think about it... now I'm changing into one too. It's like... a werewolf, or something. And I can't control myself when I change."
"Are you serious?" she asked. "Things like that don't exist, Hiroshi!" Where would he get an idea like that? Did he go to a party and take some acid or something? She had read about people having hallucinations while on that stuff.
He just pointed then, to his bedroom, where he had a large, makeshift cage set up, along with a video camera aimed at it. "I've been filming myself... trying to figure anything out. Just... just watch the video in it now."
She sighed. "Alright." She knew that giving into his delusions was a bad idea, but, if she saw that the tape had nothing on it, then it would be OK. "Play the tape."
He clicked a button on the camera, and the small screen on the back of it flickered to life.
She sat down and watched the tape.
On the tape, one could clearly see Hiroshi, huddled in the locked cage, growing, changing, his entire physiology shifting. The hair grew, the snout became visible, and then the rage. He struggled at the cage, beating the shit out of it, although luckily it held up.
Angie just sat there in stunned silence as she watched all of it. It looked just like something out of 'An American Werewolf in London,' or at leas the parts that she had been able to sit through. Horror movies scared her too much, and now she was watching a real one. "Oh my god, why didn't you tell anyone?" she asked.
"What would I say? Nobody's gonna believe me, Angie... Satsu? She fights stuff like this! Remember what we saw in Japan? I mean, I know those were vampires, and we barely got ourselves to believe THOSE existed... but what if she wants to kill ME now?"
Angie shook her head. "No, she wouldn't do that. She's your friend. She's our friend. This is something that happened to you. It's not like you're going out and attacking people, right?"
Hiroshi just looked at her. Jeez... Angie really was an eternal optimist. "Just don't think I was pushing you away because I don't care about you... I was pushing you away because I DO."
"I know," she said, nodding. "But, that's exactly what you shouldn't do. You can't deal with this alone. That cage can only hold together for so long. We've at least got to get you a bigger cage."
"I cannot believe you're ok with this. I thought you'd be terrified of me, of what's happening to me..." Hell, HE was still horrified by what had happened to him.
"Well, I'm not exactly thrilled, you know?" she pointed out. "It's not like it's something that you did on purpose, though. You're still the same person, just much fuzzier during the full moon."
He practically fell into her arms then, despite her being a fair bit smaller than himself. "I'm so scared.... this doesn't seem like it can be real..."
She basically went tumbling to the floor with him, something that she really couldn't help. Still, she just started stroking his hair instead. "It's going to be OK, Hiroshi. We'll get this taken care of."
